Jedi Apprentice
Which system do you think handled this game the best? I've played them on both XBox and PC and they were both good in there own repsects but the XBox version was easier to control. Any comments? Katarn07
Hmm. I've only played it on PC. PC games are easier for me to control with the mouse and all. I never liked controllers... I get a cramp in my thumb and wrist (I have no console, so not used to using a controller)
Khier
Hmm I think I should try it for my Xbox, my PC is such a piece of junk, JO on my computer is set on all the lowest settings blech, but that doesn't deter me!
Prime
I don't have a console, so maybe I'm a bit out of touch, but doesn't all the skins, models, maps and mods make the PC version the obvious choice? Not to mention the online MP?
Jeff 42
Console JO = maximum 2 real people in an MP game. It's no contest. JO would have been a great game for Xbox Live, but I don't care; I'm happy with my PC version.
TK_Nutritious
Control wise no console can really match the mouse/keyboard combo. Why I still prefer pc games over console. (Though socom is pretty fun)
DC | Dark Luke
Gamecube, i have one:D I`m really mad...gamecube games i my country (argentina)cost three times the money it cost in usa. So, if you pay $45, i have to pay $75 (american dollars), and the dollar is devaluated to 3,65 "pesos" each dollar...the games end up costing me like 285 pesos:( I still can´t afford JO!!!!! Luc Solar
Aiming with a pad? ...I don't think so! Makes you wonder why console-gamers don't use keyboard + mouse...or some sort of "control-panel" + mouse. (I know you can get those, but they're not exactly popular)
DC | Dark Luke
Originally posted by Scouttrooper PC always better !!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D gameconsoles sucks,... why dont you just play on a awsome pc ?? Why? I think confort is one reason. When i`m playing with my gamecube, i´m laying on the sofa, whit my legs hanging on the chair and my coke on the table. (sort of a pig, yes:D ) You can`t do that with a pc, and u can´t leave a glass near the keyboard, cuz if u`re a little dumb, you can make a real mess... Other reason is that you don`t have Operative System issues, you don`t have to restart anything, or do any scandisc or install software and other ass pains. I hope u understood me:) SAlu2
yolkboy
I prefer the PC. 1) By far, the PC has better graphics 2) Keyboard + Mouse = better aiming 3) Keyboard and Mouse (ergonomic) more comfortable (For me) 4) Mods, Skins, and all the other DL's 5) Games in general for consoles cost more $$$ 6) Huge MP Games! 7) Because I don't have a XBOX I see your point DC | Dark Luke.... But.... I have a cordless wireless keyboard and mouse. (I HATE the wire since it drags ) Anyways, if I wanted to, I can hook my computer up to my TV and play while sitting on the sofa. (Hmmm... going to need to buy one of those lap desks to put my keyboard and mouse on...) anyways, you get the point. Sorry to hear that games cost so much over there. Pedantic
Yeah, I love my PC. JK2 plays just fine on it. I hate the console controllers--my mouse and keyboard are just fine, thanks. And my framerate is just peachy @ 1280x1024x32, 8x AF, and 4x AA. And my computer never crashes because, when I set it up, I take meticulous care installing the OS and software. Sure, it takes a lot longer than just throwing it all together, but in the long run it pays off, because afterward, my PC is as solid as a rock.
