Try to be serious and...no wait. Forget that. Just try to be honest, okay? No cheating or looking at what other's have answered! :)

1) What do you think you got when you bought Jedi Outcast (or any other game)

A) I got the game. The box, the CD, the manual...the whole thing. I payed for it and now it's mine.

B) what he ^^ said. Except that it's copyrighted material and I can not use it against law by f.ex copying it and selling the copies.

C) I got a right to use the game, nothing more. The Cd's, manuals and stuff aren't my property.

*******************************

2) Do you know what an EULA is?

A) No. Never heard of it.

B) No. But I've heard about it.

C) I think I do. I have a vague understanding of what EULA's are.

D) Yes. EULA is the end-user licence agreement that I agreed on before installing JO.

********************************

3) Did you read the EULA when installing JO?

A) No. What EULA? I must have missed it.

B) No. Couldn't care less. I just clicked on "Yes I agree" to get on with the installing.

C) No. My english isn't that good.

D) Yes, I read some of it but that legal jargon made no sense whatsoever. I didn't understand a word.

E) Yes. I read it, understood it and accepted the agreement.

*********************************

4) Do you consider EULA's as binding agreements?

A) Yes.

B) No.

C) Depends on the EULA, how it is presented and what it says.

Not only that but...

Example:

Buy a car without getting to test drive it. You pay the money and get the car. Once you open the door you waive your right to refund.

The contract written in latin is in the glove compartment.

On the first page of the contract it sais that by opening the glove compartment you agreed to all terms including the ones that state:

* you can not ever sell he car to anyone

* you didn't actually buy the car at all, but simply a right to use the car which can be revoked at any time without any reason.

* you can not in any way try to fix the car or change it.

* you agree not to try to figure out how the car operates. If it brakes down, you have no right to open the hood to see what's going on.

* you agree not to drive the car on tuesdays. Thinking racial thoughts or listening to rap music is also forbidden while driving this car.

* Any breach of this contract will automatically result in cencellation of the agreement and you must destroy the car.

* You also agree that The Comapany can sue you ass off but you have no right in any circumstance to sue The Company for any reason whatsoever.

* This agreement is governed by the Law of Ogata-Bogota and...

Oh man...I could go on and on forever...
