DarthMuffin
Cmon, everybody doesn't have a gamecube! They could make a PC version (like Rogue 1)!

swphreak
*hugs his gamecube* I couldn't care if they made it for PC, but I doubt they will. They didn't make Rogue Leader for PC so there you have it. Besides, it is a lot of work to convert a game. A lot harder than you think.

But some of us don't like the limitations and besides, I'd rather buy computer games that have MP to last a while longer in any event. However, I'm not complaining because I'm not into flight simulators anyway.. Although I could if I wanted convince my brother about renting the game, but that won't matter anyways. darthfergie
I don't know about RS3...The Rogue Squadron series arcade style is perfect for the Console Platform Presentation...but I'd prefer the X-Wing Series style for the PC please. Somehow I doubt another Trilogy space game will be coming out for a while...But when the Trilogy is realeased on DVD I would expect some immediate repopularization of the Trilogy and many new trilogy products hitting the shelves again (wants his micro machine fleets back...not these pathetic action fleet mockaries)
another_trooper
I need Rs3 for PC, i would play the original but it doesnt work on XP They have to make it on PC!!! Inboud fighters at 10-13! Hold on Wedge!
Heavyarms
us gamecube people need a good game to play for some time! We haven't gotten many good games recently. At least there will be one more!
JediMasterEd
Yeah...most get old and boring really quickly. Medal of Honor and Super Smash Brothers are the only ones that are good... the Gamecube needs a lot of good games before it goes under and becomes a children gaming platform. DarthMuffin
Originally posted by Heavyarms We haven't gotten many good games recently. thats exactly why I don't want to buy one! the only interesting games seem to be rogue and bounty hunter... another_trooper
Apparently, in Bounty hunter, I read that you just fly around huge levels (which is cool) looking for one tiny switch (not cool) and that you can unlock secret ARTWORK ( ) when you beat the game. . . Talk about replay value man!
Jedi Apprentice
The main reason is because Factor 5 produces solely for Nintendo. It must be part of their license or something to that extent that doesn't let them go multi-platform. It's a shame though, RS3 would be a great XBox game. JediMasterEd
I have Bounty Hunter for the PS2 and it has been very frusterating. I just can't get the Flamethrower out before the Bando Gora attack me, their melee attack is devistating. Besides, with only one platform to work with makes programing much easier that creating multiple formats.
Darth Groovy
Originally posted by Darth54 Cmon, everybody doesn't have a gamecube! They could make a PC version (like Rogue 1)! It is a trick to designed to get you to buy a console system you otherwise would not want. I damn near came close to buying an N64 system, just to get Rouge Squadron, and Episode One Racer. but instead, I just rented the system and the game, and decided it really was not all that anyway. N64 had crappy sound, and I hate cartridges of any kind. Besides that, I am not big on flying games, they make me sick to my stomach, and I suck at them anyways. Talk about replay value man! yea, but its really fun to use the jetpack. And yea, you can unlock a bunch of artwork, but there really is no point to it. But that game is really fun. And Rogue Squadron 2 is too short ^_^ I hope rebel strike will be better.
Billy Shears
Am I the only one that thought RL, with it's non-storyline-insane-pointless-shooting-7-rebels-ships-at-endor-no-challenge-at-allness completely sucked?
JediMasterEd
Yeah, that sucked. There were many more craft in the Battle of Endor. The story line was occasionally linear...but it was ok.
Heavyarms
expect the same thing plotwise, but they are jamming all the levels with even more enemies.
Surfnshannon
edited to say I'm retarted...I thought you were talking about a different game... sorry edited AGAIN: because I'm retarted...I mean Retarded...
Heavyarms
what's the matter? Most star wars games do come out on PC or PS2. Fewer and fewer appear on GCN you know.

JediMasterEd
Why should it matter? I think it will be better on a console than a computer anyway. Why? Cause with me, it runs better on a console.
