JerAir1587249581 Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 I think it'll be pretty good, probably better than ep 2 and I hope the storyline is good. But the thing is, there is so much to cram in the story it might be too fast-paced and they might skip a lot of stuff.

If he can recreate an ESB-esque mood add to this an amazing storyline and you'll get for sure the best SW movie of all time!!! well maybe i'm dreaming, but it's worth dreaming about i think..

We all know who he is, if Vader is going to be in it, I want to see him kicking some butt like he did in the Dark Horse Star Wars Empire comics.

Crowy Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 i went the best cause netihng star wars is good to me and due to the jedi council all being wiped out bar obi and yoda as far as we know there are bound to be a fairly few good saber battles... coz windu needs to die and the rest of hte council... doesnt anakin need to nearly die? coz hes like... 90 percent robot? i cant remember, i must buy the trilogy on dvd i would say at least excellent though

If done correctly, I expect Episode 3 to be the best out of all the series. It should be an instant classic. I can't wait.

Also, half the people around here will hate it for the same reasons they hate ep1 and 2. I will probably love it.
benTantilles Posted June 8, 2003 Posted June 8, 2003 hmmm....it seems that every1 here thinx that epIII will be the best of them all. while epIII probably has the potential to be the best in the series, it's greatness relies on one thing- if it is done correctly, as many of u have acknowledged. personally, i think george is screw epIII up. while his brilliance in fields such as editing, special effects & plot-generation can't be disputed, he's a hopelessly poor director. so....while i think epIII's gonna have a great storyline & fantastic special FX, it's effect on the audience is gonna be negated by bad directing. of course, this is one of those few times where i sincerely hope i'm wrong...

That's because critics are only one big bunch of losers who can't make movies and bash other's movies 'cause they're pissed. If Steven Spielberg or Martin Scorsese said bad things about my movie I would respect the comment but not from someone who can't do one himself. Sorry for this... And it all depends on the feeling we'll get. You know that feeling we got when we watched the OT.

If this is going to be the final SW movie it has to kick ass, its going to be painfull watching the jedi die though Who knows maybe Lucas will get bored in a few years and make 7 - 9, or maybe just one more??

I bet George Lucas will make at least 2 more, and since technology is expanding so fast, the computer-generated images might actually look real. So my hopes are high.
