Darth_Rommel
Gee golly, my post count was majorly pruned. Can an admin fix it?I believe I was around 4820ish before... I'm sure some other GalacticBattlegrounds members can confirm this. Thanks in advance!
Darth Groovy
I can confirm that because it was too hard not to notice. You took a steep reduction. Some other people had pmed me about post counts as well. I think there was some pruning done, and I directed them to this forum. I've had it happen before, it's an easy fix. Rogue15
someone clicked the infamous post recalculation button and a couple people, including me, got their post counts reduced.

-=ReApEr=-
Originally posted by C'jais Is it a mod button? What's it there for? I think it deletes old and inactive posts. Which then some peoples counts get affected, as the threads that were inactive got deleted.
Pad
Originally posted by C'jais Is it a mod button? What about the old Episode II Forum?
Metallus
"The merge" happened December 2001 between a number of seperately operating forums on the network. This doesn't affect anyone with a registration date after December 2001 or an account number over about 12,500.

ZBomber
account number over about 12,500. I'm rather curious, what is my account number?
scabb
70026. Just hover over the profile button under a users post, the userid is the account number. Maybe.

scabb
Yes, but you have to remember that several forums were merged at one point, so duplicate userids had to be avoided somehow. ¬ Users also get deleted and other such fun, but I'm not 100% sure how it works - It's not gonna be consistent though. I don't see why another number would be used, everyone has a unique userid and it's an easy way of accessing anyones account, but why am I talking about this ¬
Metallus
scabb is correct. Nice try on the sarcasm though, ZB. The first 12,000-odd member accounts shouldn't be taken to mean any sort of registration order, anyway--it's confusing. The first 12000 accounts (after the Admins who set up the boards in the first place) all depend on which forums were imported into to lucasforums first. In this case, it went: Galacticbattles.com, Jediknight.net, and then some others (JK2.net, RSN, XWA in some order), and ending with escapemi.com (now Monkey Island Discussion) accounts. The GB.com oldbies have the lowest account numbers for that reason. Everyone who actually registered on LucasForums.com (December 2001 and on) and didn't have an older account merged or something will be totally unaffected (hopefully) by admin muckery with the post counts. The link to your profile reveals your account number/userid/whatever you call it.
