Surfnshannon Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 YACHT That's right ladies and gentlemen... September 20, 2003 my fiance and I will be getting marred aboard "THE EMPRESS". A really huge Yacht! *everyone toasts champagne Yay! Pictures all around!
Praetorian Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Congrats, Shan!!! Let the countdown begin! The yacht looks really nice. Hope it doesn't storm and everyone get seasick. PS- where are you going for your honeymoon?
Havoc Stryphe Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Congrats, Shannon, on the date and the cool Yacht! Getting married on a yacht, no that's what I call class. Now you have a very real, very precise day to look forward to and wait with great anticipation. Congrats again. PS What are you going to do about the wedding guests who get sea sick?
JediMasterEd Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Congratulations! I hope you have a wonderful time and the weather will be appropriate for the occasion. Again, congrats!
Surfnshannon Posted June 27, 2003 Author Posted June 27, 2003 Weather....I'm in So Cal! *knocks on wood heh watch 364 days will be sunny and of course my non-refundable yacht cruise will have stormy weather. As to the guests that get sea sick... sorry...j/k Well the yacht cruises a harbor...so its not like we will be catching any action or swells for that matter. I'm trying to plan a dolphin/shell type thing theme for it. Its reaaaaaly hard to find "Dolphin" invitations that look classy. Anyways here's some more pics Here's a view of the bottom deck...where there is a bar, grand piano, some chairs for guests to mingle Most integrell part of celebration...just kidding Thought I was lying about the grand piano huh? Top level where it opens up and the ceremony will be held (I"m so nervous) Invitations I'm considering...think they are the best I can get
DashRendar Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Congratulations! What a great idea...so where's the Yacht gonna be?

Boba Rhett Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Awesome, Shan! It's great to see that everything is coming together. Will there be pictures taken at the ceremony? More importantly, will we see any?
Compa_Mighty Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Congrats! The boat is really great. Hope you have a great day then!
Darth Homer Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Originally posted by Havoc Stryphe PS What are you going to do about the wedding guests who get sea sick? My suggestion would be to sit them near the railings... Anyway, Congrats, STTCT! That is quite a boat you got there, it'll be impressive, I'm sure.
Darth Groovy Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 You lucky lucky lucky lady. A yacht huh? That is pretty neat! Groovy is not getting married now... Groovy is single again...*sobs*

(thats right, self free propaganda) and about pianoes, I can play that theme song from the pink panther (primitive version of course). Hehehe, I could also play that music from tour of duty. . . Man, im hungry. . . wooops, I mean Congratulations !
Artoo Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 Big Congratulations STTCT! I'm sure this is something you've been in a very uphill journey for. I'm anxious to hear where someone could possibly go on honeymoon after having a wedding on a yacht! And also what to do with the kid? And I think I can speak for everyone when I say that... We Wanna See Pics!!! Mucho Congrats por tu.
Surfnshannon Posted June 30, 2003 Author Posted June 30, 2003 kewl no problem, you guys will see pics. i ordered the pictures onto cd rom from the photographer. Can you believe they want 132$ for that?? The cd??? You know it costs him like 10 cents to do that!
Artoo Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 They do it like that cause if you have that high-quality of a picture on CD you can get as many different size prints of any of them as you want for dirt cheap at your neighborhood Walmart, and he doesn't like that, so he overcharges drasticly. That's my theory anyway.
Surfnshannon Posted July 1, 2003 Author Posted July 1, 2003 ya ur right artoo...that's why I'm gettin the cd!! As many reprints as my little heart desires and my ink tanks can handle!
