The Truthful Liar Posted July 19, 2003 Posted July 19, 2003 One that hasn't been mentioned yet: "The man who knew too little" very funny film. :] Also, I think some of you are forgetting a few Robin Williams films... :|

Bob Gnarly Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 I like Zoolander, Theres something about Mary, Dirty Works ok, but then again i love Norms work.
Rad Blackrose Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 Airplane and Office Space. Dumb and Dumber never really phased me.
HertogJan Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 Oh yeah, Monty Python rocks too!! And Spaceballs?? Man that movie sucks!! It's just really NOT FUNNY!!
BigTeddyPaul Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 You didn't think that Space Balls was even the tiniest bit funny? The whole "Your Schwartz is as big as mine" or the mini Vader, or the whole merchandice of Yogurt things. Funniest by far was the alien poping out of the guy and doing the frog dance. Life of Brian: None of you have any balls! That was actually my least favorite Monty Python movies. Mr. Carusseau (sp) is hillarious though. Where do they come up with that stuff? BigTeddyPaul
HertogJan Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 The quest of the holy grail is great too, from Monty Python I want you to get my shrubbery!!
BongoBob Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 God I forgot Quest for the Holy Grail and Spaceballs. What others am I forgetting?!?
Lost Welshman Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 MONTY PYTHON: The Meaning of Life (Hillarious) The film starts off really weirdly, with a bunch of old guys working in an office building on typewriters. One of them gets fired and somehow all the others revolt and take over hte building with swords and stuff. THen they pull up an anchor and sail to an american skyscraper thing, and burst through the glass windows and take over. Then it gets on with the film. Which doesn't have a storyline, it's a series of long sketches about the meaning of life. It's really funny, Especially near the end with Death. In a cottage in the middle of the country, people are having a meal and Death comes. And they find out they're all dead. Someone asks how they all died at the same time, and Death extends his hand. He slowly turns with his finger pointing at everyone in turn, but he quickly swoops it round and points to the salmon paste, and all the people act really shocked and frightened. It is a great film, but as for the best comedy.... I don't think there is one. Depends on what style of comedy you like, there is stuff like Airplane , There is the Monty Python stuff , Things like Bruce Almighty , and lots of other types of comedy. I don't know what the best it though, so I wasted alot of my time writing.... At least it was on the topic.
toms Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 This is spinal Tap nuff said, end of discussion. Monty pyhon: Holy Grail and Life of Brian are up there too. Spinal tap is the only DVD i have watched where i was cracking up before the title sequence to the menus had even started. genius.
