Different approach I guess. 🤷‍♂️ I always have a few words with no double letters in it to try first. This way I already eliminate some wrong letters (or get some correct ones). But I always hope that one of the short words is the right one. 😎

The more I see familiar faces from Mêlée, the more I hope we’ll see Captain Smirk again - even if only to open another argument about his smoking habits.

Hmm, don’t you get a message if the word they are looking for is a short one? Then I of course only search for a word with a maximum of 4 letters - and then the last ‘letter‘ is almost always a #.

It’s supposed to be a treasure hunt: we are supposed to look for the hidden X, the treasure. Dunno how else to explain this. 😅

Back then I really, really hated it. Much more than it deserved. Nowadays, I’m much cooler with it. It’s a fun adventure movie. With a lot of flaws, sure, but it’s totally okay. Never understood the big problem with the fridge though. It's a bit over the top, maybe, and didn’t feel like Indy. But in the end, the movie had bigger problems than this scene. And it’s kind of fun to watch.

Yeah, fair enough. Villeneuve’s and Nolan‘s movies are the only ones for me, that really excite me in cinema, when I think about it. And those are completely different than those big 80s/90s movies, For sure. Endgame could have been a big event for me, but I wasn’t really into Marvel back then – and even now… i don’t know. To me it all lacks heart. The Mandalorian was greatest to me, when they didn’t try to connect the story to the rest of the SW universe… 😒 For most of the first two seasons it felt unique and kind of standalone - but still like Star Wars. Hmhmm, let’s see what Indy 5 will bring us. It’s still unbelievable, it’ll finally come to theaters. 😅

Dune Part Two? Oppenheimer? Fabelmans?

That‘s a cool idea! I guess, as the hint book, it could blink when something new is in the scrapbook. Another thought that I had (and liked) is that it would also fill with important moments you have in this game. This way you could get a quick recap if you put the game aside for a longer time (of course none of us would ever do that…) and it would give a little extra satisfaction when you achieved something cool, to hear Guybrush’s view of it.

Why do they always have problems, using the logo properly? 🙄 It already looked totally weird on the Indy 4 Teaser poster…

Good thing Indy is much more than a simple action hero.

I have a good friend who plays a lot of video games but no real adventures (she also never played Monkey Island). But I told her a bit about ReMI and she’ll play it on the Switch, because she likes the look, the pirate setting and everything else so far. So it’ll be interesting if she’ll have fun with it, how she’ll receive it in general and if she’ll maybe even play one of the old ones after that. So yeah, I think the MI community will gain more fans. I mean it was part of the Nintendo Direct, so some people must have heard of it. 😊

Sure, we don’t know. But it’s fun to speculate. 😉😬 About stealing the show… I don’t know. If it was only because of bad timing, I think something like “I couldn’t work on it but everything looks great so far and I’m looking forward to play it!” would work much better. Because the people who care that he’s not on board would notice his absence anyway. I always get the feeling that he (and his work) is much more important to him than others are. But I’m not a Tim expert, so dunno… maybe I’m totally wrong.

Yeah… if kind of feels like everybody in the industry is (openly) excited for this game except him. I mean even Roberta Williams said she’s looking forward to play it. 😅
