Okay, maybe not the ending, but after the end credits are finished rolling, a preview comes up on the screen. The only thing it shows is :

VII, VIII, and IX Coming Soon.

Of course there's no chance in hades of that one happening, but I can dream if I want to!

then in ANH, you would see him remove his hood and see the work of time. (I'm feeling like a poet tonight  )

I think it would be better if you just know he vanishes without a trace, that way when you watch ANH and see him again...your like:eek:

*chuckle* Or those of us that haven't watched it in a while.

The trick is to make a nice transition between the third and fourth films. Lead into the opening sequence of a ANH somehow. Fade out from R2 and 3PO or something...I dunno. Maybe I just want to see the droids get more screen time.

And Pedro will now point out the flaws in my plans. *g*

Ths is my guess:

Vader will be in his suit and will fight some random jedi. (Thus "he hunted down and killed the jedi knights" - Obi-wan) Then he will kill them (while using a red lightsabre). Vader will meet Tarkin and Tarkin says the death star it finnished being built and is ready to get its canons installed. Vader is on the ground and the view flys through space and we see the death star. END

But I don't really care too much how it ends - I hope it dosn't but as long as it's not like TPM ending - that was rubbish!!!

I wouldnt mind seeing Vader walking out onto the bridge of the Star Destroyer that is overseeing the beginnings of the death star. And it actually makes sense it would be possible that the 2nd Death Star was in production as the first one was nearing completion (like in the last 3 years) but was kept a secret to only the top officers and Vader. Cuz I mean doing something a 2nd time usually takes less time than the first, especially when constructing a duplicate, just some upgraded improvements.

Agree. That should be kind of like the last scene. Every Star Wars movie ends with a shot of a group/couple (:p) at the end. Vader overlooking a battalion of Stormies etc. at the end would be great.

Also - I've been thinking, I hope Obi-Wan says to Anakin "come with me" before they fight to try and coax him from the darkside.....

"Obi-Wan once thoght as you do...."

I posted this in a similar thread a long while back, took me a while to find:

*Imperial theme*A shot of Corruscant with most of the Republic fleet, now Imperial ships, decending on the planet, slowly zoom in on a huge balcony overlooking the city where Palpatine is standing with his terrible grin as all the local citizens and the new Imperial army are looking way up at him as he gives his "taking over" speech and he raises his arms in marveled power as Vader stands tall behind him slowly gazing from side to side observing the city.

Cut *Ep2 love theme*to Padme on Alderan as she is nursing Leia and quietly weeping. She slowly hangs her head as Bail Organa looks out on a balcony, his arms are crossed and he bitterly shuts his eyes.

Cut *Jedi theme*to Tatooine, we see a Jedi ship landed near the Lars homestead. Owen and Beru are coming out as Obi-Wan walks toward them with something in his arms. They reach each other and we see that Obi is holding Luke. Owen and Beru are holding hands as they look down at Luke, then at eachother, then at Obi. Luke is passed to them. There is a sad look of understanding on everyones face. Obi then slowly turns back to his ship.

Final Cut *Jedi theme in chorus*to Yoda on a small ship thats on its way from Corruscant to Dagoba. He is observing all of this through the Force. He sighs heavily and looks up, looks back toward Corruscant, now looks ahead. The ship flies away from screen and enters hyperspace...Wipe in credits*Star Wars theme*.

Cant wait till George does something ten times better!

I think it should be like this:

Go to a room where many droids are working on a badly burnt figure (Anakin)

Close up the luke & leia story arch by having them go to their respective worlds (Tatooine & Alderaan) & Obi-wan setting up his home

Go to Dagobah, where we see Yoda settling into his new home

Go back to a shot from behind Anakin sitting *Imperial march starts*, as he sits, his helmet is lowered onto his head. He then, turns around. End with a close-up of Vader's mask.

Go to black & start credits

I think it will end with Vader, Palpatine, and Tarkin looking out into space from a star destroyer with lots of other star destroyers around them and tie fighters flying all around or

Vader, Palptine, and Tarkin on Courscant watching from a balcony at thousands of stormtroopers, AT-ST Walkers and AT-AT Walkers marching with Tei Fighters and Tie Bombers flying over head. In the background we see the death star plans in the back of the room
