Alia
Idle hands are the devil's workshop. Uhh, in a wild segue, laziness is a "sin," therefore wouldn't the devil be too lazy to work through your idle hands? Anyway.... Doing nothing is bad. Moderation is key. STTCT: I'm happy for you. I don't know if everybody is that lucky. And your baby is soooo cute. I voted 10....why didn't you post that link here? Anyway, people who haven't seen this... Vote STTCT's Baby! Back on track with the discussion now... carry on.
Cmdr. Cracken
I agree, 16-18, hell, even my age, 19, are realy NOT going to find the love of your life. you could come close, but it's not happening like that anymore, where you meet a girl and marry her when your young. Just go easy, and don't do anything rash or stupid. Listen to Ike and the older guys here. Think rationally, and you won't ever go wrong, your feelings do you credit, but they may lead you down a path you don't want to go down.
Kjølen
Heyhey, you can find love anything during your life. True love is special, and mysterious. It's alsovery tricky. If you love your heart out all the time with a person it will always end too soon. That is why Shakespeare says "Love Moderately". Kamiyama? Japanese? Alia
Get her the Yello Dello, to show her how much you care. Actually, it depends on what she's like. I always opt for funny, offbeat presents for my friends, but some people proabably wouldn't like that. But don't panic, think!
Redwing
Hah. YES! THE YELLOW DELLO!!! (that is one hot bird.) K-Jo: By "Harbor" he was referring to a school. Coincidence. ^^
Surfnshannon
Get her a gift certificate to the movies... It works for just about anyone. And sometimes you can even go together Hey that new Matrix Movie is coming out and ROTK... Just an idea.
LukA_YJK
Hey, TK-421! Nice to see you all, Rogues! What is your intention?.. Sorry, I'm out...
Ikhnaton
making out and sex and all that is very nice, very fun, feels good, etc. I see no reason to be a complete prude, but just be really really really really careful about sex. I can testify and I'm sure Shan can as well that getting preggers or getting someone preggers that you're not married to is tough to deal with. this is the time of your life to have fun. sex may seem like the ultimate fun, but when you deal with the complications associated with it, the possible hurt feelings, possible diseases, possible pregnancy, even legal complications if you're not careful, you're treading on serious ground, not fun. My intention is to collapse the rotten structure from within by encouraging the termites through asinine humor and obscure innuendo. Pretzel? SuicidalXWing
I'd say tell her soon, else it might be too late. You wait too long and you'll miss your chance, like I did and am still kicking myself for. And to think it was over a year ago this happened, and I'm still pissed about it. Pisces
You know, I've seen a lot of "you'll regret it if you don't" but you could regret if you do. You said you don't want to risk ruining a good friendship (quite possibly the best/only reason for not doing it) and yeah, yeah I know what people'll say "if that ruins your friendship she wasn't a good friend in the first place" guess what, it'd still hurt. And for a while, I guarantee. By the way, if you haven't yet, I say go for it 'cause you sound like you stand a really good chance. The above was said on the basis that you stood 0 chance in the first place. I'm just arguing for the other side.

lukeiamyourdad
You have to tell her or you're gonna regret it. Either way it's painful. I once really really really liked this girl and I haven't told her. She then got a boyfriend who's almost totally like me...

edlib
Yeh! That's fer damn sure! They do it on Springer all the time! A couple o' scruffy, toothless redneck-types battling with the furniture over the affections of some 300+ pound woman that they both happen to be closely related to by blood. Ahhh,.. the magic of true love!
Kstar__2
c'mon, this guy is serious. you know what might work for you, write something simple like "i love you" on a note, and then just give that to her, she'll prolly understand that you're too (scared) to tell it right in her face, plus it's a sweet and thoughtfull thing too. just make sure it's like, a normal paper, nothing fance with a rose or perfume or something, just a simple paper, you and her. i think that would work best.
