Elijah
The other day I was hanging out with my older brother... his wife was gone sunday, so we hung out on the town and saw a movie... we had a great time... Anyways, me , being the energetic person I am, decides to jump over a trash can just for fun... I jumped it, my pants where to loose, so I didnt pull my legs high enough which ment when I landed, I rolled... luckly I know how to take a fall so I just dusted my self off and laughed... Well the next morning I woke up and I have a huge lump on my right arm (near my elbow) Odd thing is, it doesnt have a single bruse mark, its just swolen like heck. I went to work today... that didnt work to well, I was supposed to dig a hole to move a brace for this house we are building, my arm cant take it, when ever my shovle hit a rock, It'd shake my arm like mad... and the ground is really rocky in the area I was digging SO NOW, Im home with an ice pack, wasting my life away at my computer waiting to get a bandage of some sort t wrap my arm up -_- BTW, as most of you know, Im not really a pitty me kinda guy, I just felt like shareing the story with you guys out of boredome. Boba Rhett
There's NO bruising? Bruising is usually a good thing in a situation like that. I'm going to go ask someone far more knowledgeable than me about it.

El Sitherino
Either you broke it or you fractured the hell out of your arm. That's the only thing I can think of that would explain the no bruising.
Elijah
I can move my arm and hand without any pain... it doesnt hurt untill I put a small (very small) about of presure on it.
C'jais
A friend of mine had this happen to him - no bruise, just a good, clean hit (he fell on the floor). It took several weeks before it had healed. My sympathies

Boba Rhett
I just got around to talking asking my dad, who's a doctor, about it and by my description, no discoloration, painful large bump, he says you may have seperated some of your muscle from the bone. You should definitely have it checked out.

The Truthful Liar
It's 2 AM, sorry for my lack of coherence if any and constant misspellings which is many in the following. Ouch. I tried that before last summer. I tried to jump over this iron bin in an English park, some of you might know what those are like. Solid bastards. Well, the first time I did it, I almost jumped on top, I was completely psyched since this thing is about chest high. The second time.. well, lets just say it wasn't pretty. I jumped with my other leg (the left one) and didn't get a proper boost, completely loppsided and fell on my back, I could've broken/damaged my neck/head if I hadn't acted quickly and raised my head before impact. The wind was completely knocked out of me for a few seconds which was strange since normally it takes longer to recover, but after a few minutes I felt a strange sensation in my leg but I said to my friends that I didn't want to look and pull up the pants legs (is there a name for those?). Moments later I felt even stranger sensations and was forced to lift one side up, only to reveal that my socks had been completely bloodied and I had a huge gash in my shin, it kept on bleeding for a week and half, I didn't go to a doctor or get stiches (sp?) and the scar remains today. I'd have to say the strangest thing from all that was the fact my leg pants (whatever) had torn at different parts but I hadn't been cut on those areas, no idea how that happened since I thought I only banged my leg once on the bin. Unfortunately, I cannot say that this was the bloodiest stories I've been through and far from what happened to another friend of mine - which involves a bike. o.O
Guest Jed
Ow, ZDawg. I'm actually recovering from a bad fall...slipped on some water near my boots while going to take the dog out and landed full-body force on my left knee, right dead in the middle. On stone tile... It's still recovering, I put ice on it the first three days afterwards, but I walk kinda funny now....does a weird "locking" up thing while I'm walking and I'm afraid I may have to go get it checked out...
