OK, is the purpose of this to list every band/artist that we like that it seems nobody else knows about (i.e. isn't popular)?

 

When I think of 'lost' bands I think of two things - overlooked bands and bands who made a quick splash and were gone. For the latter you actually needed to sell records, for the former you just need someone to think you're 'da bomb'.

I've heard of 90 percent of what was said out of everyone...

They become etched in my mind when I sell bands off for money...Don't tell the cops :D

 

No one's listed Boy set fire, Bad Religion, Cradle Of Filth, Crass, Authority Zero, and Michelle Branch :) SHE IS A BAND! I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU DISAGREE, I mean....uh..crap

wow, i did not know i had so many friends in metal here :) im only gonna list off a few unknowns cause otherwise it would take too long and im short on time :)

 

finntroll - finnish folk/metal, awesome mix, folk themes with great music

 

Ensiferum - another good finn band play viking metal, great new cd just came out
