I just visited Lucasarts.com in search for some demos, and in the newest games displayer, right before Battlefront, I discovered Republic Commando! Looking at some screenshots, this game looks damn fun and the graphics are awesome. How how come the talk lately is all about Battlefront? Is anyone interested in Republic Commando? I know I am!

Neverhoodian Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 To tell you the truth, I've never really been that interested in RC. It looks too much like Metroid Prime and not enough like Star Wars. Not that Metroid Prime is a bad game (it's one of my favorite GameCube games), but it's got a different "feel" to it that would seem out of place in a Star Wars game.

I have heard that there is a little uncertainy about whether it will be Febuary or Summer, but lucasarts.com still says Febuary, so that is the best we have to go off of, and most likely the case. (may you be confusing it with the release date of ROTS? just a thought)

Of course - February *is* summer in Australia, so ... Mike

However, it always seemed that it was more likely to be Febuary than anything else.

CapNColostomy Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Like most Star Wars games, I'll almost certainly buy this. And play through single player. Then try out multiplayer. Then grow bored with it within having owned it two weeks, and go back to whatever I was playing before this came along.
