Fishflesh Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 well if you look at the first pic on the 3de page it does look a bid like BFME... mumakill= imperial walker, orc army = stormtroopers trols= at-st, snowspeeders= eagels ... but space is looks totaly a blast.

But the others are in various angles so.... whatever. Looks interesting. So far. Oh and Jan Gaarni Technically LotR was visualized before SW. Not in Movie form but in the art that went with the book (which was long before SW) and the movie based most of it's visual design from that art.

WOW...I can't believe it...TIE Crawlers are actually in the game! That's AWESOME! I thought they'd be history after they didn't show up in GB. I mean they WERE already semi-established thanks to the books and the vehichles and vessels guides. That's totally awesome...man...this game is already blowing me out of the water...and it's just a little alpha game screenshots. DANG I WANT IT!!! O_O lol

Only those who subscribe to it had it early. The Lucasfan network have a great rapor with Lucasarts and I would rather wait for them to confirm it and send us exclusive screens and content. Im glad you guys have seen the screens because the game is shaping up to be amazing. Even this early code shows that. DMUK

swphreak Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 I just wet myself... and I do notice a resemblance of the stormtrooper squads to Gondor archers (How they're lined up in groups), and the large group of stormtroopers reminds me of a battalion of Gondor soldiers/archers. That's the only resemblance I see, and by resemblance, I mean squad positions and stuff, not the actual units. And I just wet myself again looking at the space battle pics.
