lukeskywalker1
I was listening to some midis of some of my old N64 games. Then I thought, "Man, that was the best system ever..." The games were unforgetable and amazing, even if they can't compete with today's standards. Actually, some of them can compete with todays standards: OoT is still being sold in video game stores, and classified as one of the best games ever made (if not THE best game ever made). Its amazing how a 30 MB game tops so many 3 GB games. Now I buy games and I beat them in a couple of days, if not hours. Back then for me and my friends if you beat a game within a month that was fast, if you could ever beat them. Maybe I was just too young and sucked really bad, but whatever. Not to mention the re-playability, and incredible story lines. Your favorite console?

ZBomber
N64, just because I actually had one and it holds such good memories. I've played a few SNES games.... but uh... i never actually played a SNES, so I can't really say that.
lukeskywalker1
Right, the N64 just so rulez. I wish they would make a CD that held a few of the old classics for the 'cube. They could probably fit a bunch of them on there. The N64 cartridges could only hold around 30 MBs, while I know the gamecube CDs can at least hold 600+ MBs, because Jedi Outcast is 669 MBs or so, and thats on GCN. Mike Windu
That wouldn't change it for me. My best memories from my N64 and childhood itself came from the multiplayer, mainly Super Smash Brothers and Goldeneye. Then everyone spread out to ps2 and xbox. We don't go over 1 person's house and have hours of fun anymore. I miss the old days.
RoxStar
I was playing that GCN game with Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time on it and all the memories came back:D @ Luke: Was OoT really only 30 mb?
lukeskywalker1
My best memories from my N64 and childhood itself came from the multiplayer, mainly Super Smash Brothers and Goldeneye. Well, thats the only reason I would ever get a console, because of the multiplayer. I got a GCN because of the 4 player MP and the great games. Only this time, I will only sell the crappy games and not the good ones. Every few years I like to replay the old classic games, but I can't because I sold the N64. XBOX and PS2 have only 2 controller ports. The thing is they have ONLINE playability also, but that can't compete with playing your friends side-by-side in the same room. BTW, you can buy a N64 at EB for $15 with games!

The Xbox has four as well. plus you can hook up Xbox's to each other and get a very large amount of people in the same room. Yoos looos. And, holy hell, guys. The N64 was not a great console. Did you guys ever have SNES systems? Those were great consoles. NINJA EDIT: Atari systems rocked too.

El Sitherino
SNES is without a doubt the best system ever made. The durability, the quality put into it, the insanity of how cool it is knows no bounds. Super Mario Brothers World is the best game ever made. swphreak
GoldenEye, Zelda, and so many more. N64 gets my vote. Then Sega. Then SNES because it's the first console I ever had.
