RpTheHotrod
Well, I forgot all about it. I was at the store and saw KOTOR II and was like, hey!....why not! I had a $20 gift card with me...so I got the game for like 29.99 or something. Any tips? I'm going light side first.

lukeiamyourdad
Ok well, do good stuff but in order to gain influence, you might have to take a few Dark Side hits but it should be fine as there is more then enough opportunities for you to gain LS points back. TheOutrider
I got it for 29.99 and I didn't have a gift card, cause I called the day before it came out and went there on the day it came out. Tips well um, Juyo Lightsaber form is the best if you combine it with Master Flurry and a super strong Jedi or weak doesn't matter. I had 100$ from my allowance and that sucked up about 25% of it. I went out to breakfast, and bought another game for my uncle. And I forgot what I did with the rest... Im bad with money, give me a 100 dollar bill and ill come back with a puppy and a hobo. Astrotoy7
Overall I liked it. However it was much shorter than KOTOR1 and I did most of the side quests, though didnt bother with the swoop racing.... I also found being a lightside character very difficult, whereas KOTOR1 was so well writte I found being a dark sider more difficult. Some of the characters are so annoying you *want* to stab them with your saber...I dunno maybe its just me My fave character....look at my av still great fun tho.... I wonder if they'll make another ?? mtfbwya
Rogue Nine
They very well might make another. They've got all this space thousands of years before the movies that they can do anything they want with it. So why not? Besides, they have to redeem themselves for all their screwups this time around. And as for the Influence thing, it's a good idea to only care about those people that are aligned with you. If you're Light Side, that means Mira, Bao-Dur, and Disciple/Handmaiden. If you're Dark Side, then you get HK-47, G0-T0 and Hanharr. Visas and Atton are the swingmen, they go with your alignment. Personally, I like going Light Side because all those people I mentioned have the potential to become Jedi. And it gives me a power trip being the Master. Sivy
Tip: Keira doesn't approve of anything except when you agree with her. so i don't even bother having her in my party. another tip: it takes ages to get a lightsaber on your first run-through. so if like me you feel naked without a lightsaber then... as soon as you get the chance go to nar shadda and go to the apartments by the docks and kill the man in the second to last apartment. Then go back to the ebon hawk where the last lightsaber part you need is wating for you. then just talk to Bao-Dur or you could just download the ‘start with lightsaber’ mod from pcgamemods. Astrotoy7
A note to you Rp, anbd everyone else, never pick 'the disciple' he's a tosser from head to toe.... stick with Hanharr or HK-47. Mira is ok, but she irritated me too at times. very cliched female character mtfbwya
Alegis
The fun went downwards for me, much better at the start. Then I did Dantooine and Korriban which is just like in the first one but with much less people, making those planets quite boring. It's still a good game but not as good as the first, a bit too empty right before the end and then too fast. I must say I do like how the ending turns out a lot But nihilus, I've only seen him once or twice in the entire game for a few secs in a cutscene. Nothing special really For me the game was riddled with bugs, a lot of cutscenes missing stuff or wrong/late animation, impossible to swoop race, heavy lag on dantooine (which i fixed thx to swknights forums)... My only gripe with both games in general is that it's too small. Star Wars is supposed to be big and it's as if every planet only has one very small town (in kotor I the friends and family of your companions meeting each other and in kotor II the same maps)
Rogue Nine
Yeah, Disciple just wants in your pants, since you can only get him if you're a female character. He tries to suave his way in with his high-falutin' English sounding-accent and fighting over you with Atton. Blech. What an ass. Handmaiden makes being a Light Side Male all worth it. Who doesn't like a wrassle in your skivvies?

If you are lightside, and got some influence with Visas, she will turn lightside too. You will get influence even if you do good things that way. RpTheHotrod
I finished it. A shame that they took so much out of the game in order to release it sooner. The ending is like....not even half of what it originally supposed to be. Good game...awesome animations....but the ending was lacking so much. toms
Well i only just finished the first one a month or so ago, and i want to go back and do it on the dark side, so i haven't bothered getting this yet. I have to say that after reading the reviews i'm really disappointed they haven't fixed any of the flaws with the first one. There were SO MANY things in the first one that needed fixing/improving... infact the gameplay and balance was terrible... it was the quality of the characters, writing and plots that made it into a great game... plus the way they captured the "feel" of star wars. I'm sure they release another, but i hope this time they take the time to make it a true sequel rather than just a mission pack.

I think it was around 50+ hours... Perhaps not as good as the first, but still a very fun game and a worthy addition to the series.
Vikinor
I was going lightside at first, but then I was tired of being such a goody goody and I wanted to make a few credits on a certain planet (I don't know if I should spoiler the planet or any of this) and I accidently got involved in a smuggling thing and got myself some darkside points. So I just deleted that save game, made a new one and went completley dark. So the lesson here is....if you want credits and strong dark side powers choose the dark side. I took the easy way being good is too hard. Oh ya I have the XBox version. I dunno if it differs than the PC version.
