Prime
I never thought I would see the day. The the little kid in me that grew up in the 80's can't help but be excited. I know it will likely fail. I know it can't live up to my expectations. But I can dream, can't I? Independence Day For The Transformers! Optimus Prime has a prime release date: The Fourth of July. Transformers, the long-planned, live-action movie based on the robot-morphing cartoon, comic and toy franchise, will roll into theaters July 4, 2007, DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures announced Wednesday. Michael Bay (The Island, The Rock) will direct; Steven Spielberg will executive produce.

I just hope that they get some of the original voice cast like Peter Cullen and Frank Welker to work on it. Probably too much to ask...

Are you thinking of something like... Here are some from the link that ChAiNz posted. These are just small projects. By the time this film comes out the technology will have moved a long way and will have millions of dollars behind it. They can already get things to look photo real. Aash Li
OMG Those were frigging awesome!! Why cant the US have great commercials like that? <_< I liked the copier one, and the optimus for sale one. lols. Oh, and I grew up watching Transformers, I saw every single episode atleast twice, and I have the crappy Rhino Studios release of the Movie. I still love the Transformers, even though the new ones are fairly blah in comparison. I did like Beast Wars though. ^_^
Jeff
That movie looks SWEET! Though I am too young to have seen the original transformers episodes, I would always watch them over at my friends house on tape. I loved them! The one line I will never forget (I think was from transformers at least, maybe something similar, long time ago...) There he is, my little guy! There he is, my little guy! Isn't he cute? Bob Lion54
Awsome!!! Those are great commercials, and the girl in the copier one is so cute! My car can dance, too. That is, if you consider spuddering dancing. I just hope the movie is good, but I'm with Prime on the likelyhood of that happening. Still, I can't wait for the previews. It should look great anyway. RedHawke
Thanks for the heads up Prime... I hope SoundWave has the same cool voice! "Rumble, Ravage, LazerBeak... Eject! Eject! Eject!" Classic! Oh and we would also get CGI Energon Cubes! Now if they would only do the same thing with Macross... a CGI Strike Valkerie would also pwn!
