Hoad Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 The title pretty much sums it up, tell us what you're listening to, and possibly some info on the band/song. I'm listening to: Misfits - Mars Attacks. Misfits are a "hardcore" punk band, most of their songs being about death or destruction of some sort. Mars Attacks is about monsters from Mars who come and attack Earth then take it over ============== You may only post once per day in this particular thread ~ ChAiNz.2da

MdKnightR Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 For a rare moment, I am sitting in total silence. Had I been listening to something, it would probably have been KISS.
stoffe Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 The title pretty much sums it up, tell us what you're listening to, and possibly some info on the band/song. Right now? The Dance with Within Temptation. Don't know what the genre would be called, kind of symphonic metal with celtic-sounding influences perhaps...
Smilodon Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Iron Maiden - 22 Acacia Avenue also 'The Number of the Beast' and 'Seventh Son of a Seventh Son' (the albums of course). Iron Maiden, well, a great and influential british heavy metal band which features operatic style vocals and fantastic dual-guitar harmonisation, what's left to say?

The_Maker Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 "DM-1 and Conduit v2 from unreal Tournament 2004" Yes I am well aware that if you listen to video game music you have social issues =P
stingerhs Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 ^^^^ says who?? i happen to enjoy the very well done soundtracks that accompany certain games like Halo and The Chronicles of Riddick. anyways, i'm currently listening to Project 86 and the song Solace. heck ya.
The_Maker Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 <.< Well, the group of people at my schools say to differ. But hey! At least someone else likes game soundtrakcs! ^.^
stingerhs Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 IMHO, as more and more developers put money into their soundtracks, the better they're starting to get. heck, some of them are argueably better than many movie soundtracks. just because others don't appriciate the finer works of music shouldn't influence you too much. otherwise, you'll miss out on a lot of great musical works.
Bob Lion54 Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 ^^^^ Definitely, but you have to love the classics like The Legend of Zelda theme....In fact, I think I will listen to it now.
montnoir Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 Silence - birds quirping outside, wind blowing through the trees and a girl playing with a ball.
