Master_Ginn Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 It comes out on DVD November 1. Not bad, i though it would come out way later than that, but i guess George really doesn't have much to do, seeing how the movies are over and all. Just thought everyone might want to know, if you havn't known already.
ET Warrior Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Aye! It's very exciting news, so now I can watch it all the times.
Mr Wally Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 There is more for him to do, according to entertainment magazine George Lucas will, starting in 2007, release the entire original trilogy in 3d... I'm I the only one that thinks this sounds just kinda stupid...? Just maybe?
Jeff Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I can't wait till it comes out... I will watch it every day! well maybe not, but I'll sure watch it a hell of a lot.
Rogue15 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 i'll watch them all in a row while eating loads of pizza.
El Sitherino Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 There is more for him to do, according to entertainment magazine George Lucas will, starting in 2007, release the entire original trilogy in 3d... I'm I the only one that thinks this sounds just kinda stupid...? Just maybe? Yes, yes you are. I for one await the moment I put on those glasses and watch the various space fighters fly out of the screen towards me. Lightsabers igniting as though they were right in front of me. I don't know about you but that's possibly the most badass thing that'll ever happen in a theatre. It is infact a wet dream, right after real lightsabers.
Mike Windu Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I'd rather the PT in 3d >> and extended war scenes, hopefully >> let's just hope it doesn't become SPY KIDS 3D.
El Sitherino Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 He's doing the PT as well and releasing the 3d versions in numerical order (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 for those that lack education).
toms Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Does that mean i have to watch episode one again???!?! *sobs*
Vikinor Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I would like to see Episode III in 3D. That would rock.
Astrotoy7 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 3d definitely sounds interesting. Dont forget also that GL is involved with Indy 4. In the Ep3 'making of' book, he dropped a comment that they finally had a script everyone agreed on mtfbwya
Sabretooth Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 @DVD: Über! @3D OT: Überuber But the PT would be much better in 3D, i.e., if they don't update the graphics and special effects of the OT.
Jeff Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 But the PT would be much better in 3D, i.e., if they don't update the graphics and special effects of the OT. Yeah, I think you're right. But I still can't wait to see it in 3d. that will be so awesome. It is infact a wet dream, right after real lightsabers.
txa1265 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 let's just hope it doesn't become SPY KIDS 3D. Hey, c'mon ... Spy Kids - are going to save the world November 1st: - Episode III DVD - 'Trials of Obi-Wan' expansion for Galaxies - Battlefront II for PC, PS2, XBox and ... PSP! Sounds like a real red-letter day ... Mike
toms Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 zzzzz..... Spy kids 1 & 2 rocked, but the 3d one was terrible... just a load of 3d setpieces and nothing else. though hopefully because they are converting an existing film rather than making a new one the SW films will avoid that syndrome.
Grace Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 bout ep3 dvd... well i probably wont' buy it... don't have a lot of money and am trying to save for college... cool though and the 3d SW... well that's just cool... but im not sure i'm too thrilled witht he idea of a 3d Jar-Jar... wasn't he annoying enough already? saber duels... well those will be awesome
Mike Windu Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I actually saw Spy Kids 3d >_> It's not that great Mike (was better than 2)
txa1265 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Spy kids 1 & 2 rocked, but the 3d one was terrible. I agree with the first two - they were loads of fun, but as for 3D, I would call it 'mildly entertaining' ... I went once with both kids, and a second time with just my younger son (older son had a birthday party or something). I actually saw Spy Kids 3d >_> It's not that great Mike (was better than 2) As it is one of my younger sons' favorite movies (he always empathized with Juni), I have seen or heard (i.e. from back of car) it many, many, oh too many times ... Better than #2 ... ? Really?!? I thought 2 was quite cool. Mike
Mike Windu Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I stopped watching 2 after the first 30 min. I couldn't take it ;_;
El Sitherino Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Does that mean i have to watch episode one again???!?! *sobs* What's with the Ep1 hate? It's far superior to episode 2, and if you think about it, it has a lot in common with Ep4.
toms Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Plus Maul >>>>> Count Dooku not even close... though dooku got punked out nearly as badly in ep3 as maul did at the end of ep1...
Vikinor Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Maul beats Dooku. Dooku doesn't seem to have any cool skills and Maul was flipping around doing kicks and stuff. Plus double bladed saber is cooler.
