I would have to say Korriban, I thought that that was one of the coolest planets in the whole game. You have to pretent (or actually be) a Sith and then gain prestige by going through a whole bunch of Sith tombs filled with artifacts, and cool items. At the end it is really a challenge when

you have to go through the tomb of Naga Sadow by yourself and find the Star Map, not to mention fighting the two Tarentaks and finding the Solari crystal

You also get to slaughter the whole Sith academy when you go back (if you say "I choose me" at the end and fight both Yuthura and Uthar). How cool is that?

Otherwise, I would have to say Kashyyyk. I like wookies and I just liked that planet. I wish they would have made it bigger, though....

KORRIBAN!

I mean, what other planet is as much fun?

Taris takes forever to get off.

Dantooine is all right, but mostly because of the Jedi training, which begins to pall second and third time through...

Tatooine there's just too much going backwards and forwards over large areas, and those cutscenes about getting lost every time you step slightly the wrong way are so ("£$^T&^)*($(£""" annoying!

Manaan is just boring...and frankly, anywhere that it's punishable by death to sneeze just....yawn.

Kashyyyk I could never get into....and besides...it has too many "y"'s :xp:

Although I like Kashyyyk (Jolee.. duh)...

I'd have to say my favorite planet for KotOR was Korriban.

It's the one planet where whether I was LS or DS I felt I had an "agenda" and something had to be accomplished (besides the StarMap).

For LS, I felt like a "spy", acting the part to accomplish a larger goal. Thwarting the Sith on their own turf also felt very satisfying and once the planet was "complete".. I felt my PC had accomplished a major goal and turning point in the Galaxy.

For DS, well what's not to like :devsmoke: You go to the Sith 'turf', show up the young punks on what a Dark Lord is supposed be like.. and again, after "completing" the planet a major turning point was felt (by me at least)... :D

Taris and Manaan, for me. Voted Manaan because it had the best feel and had that old-school Flash Gordon design to it. It was somewhat harder than the others, there were some good mysteries and hidden quests and lots of things to do. Taris is good also, very nice design, but I didn't enjoy "the outcasts village" as much as I did the Selkath (on my first playthrough, I couldn't tell their speech apart and I never felt it repeated itself, so it never annoyed me, now though I hear that one 10 sec speech loop everytime so I can't listen to it anymore, but on my first playthrough I never once pushed the forward button on a Selkath dialogue).

I think i'm with RedJohnny, i liked them all so much. But if i had to chose;

* Taris because everything is so new and you get to meet everyone

or

*Kashyyk because i loved walking amongst the tree tops, shadowlands are cool and its always the place i start to get clost to bastilla

Yes, I suppose Dantooine was ok, I would have like it if it was bigger, and I like the music. Of course it is the place where you get your lightsaber first, which is cool, but most of the time I just didn't want to stay there. And besides, I actually don't think of Dantooine as being a Star Map location even though technically it is. It was too small, and the whole quest to get there was small and easy. Fight around five or six Kath Hounds, two Rakata droids who take a while but are relativily easy. Oh, and taking a ridicuouless easy test. I kind of wondered why Nemo failed.

Taris, I actually hated a while ago, although I don't mind it now. You didn't have your lightsaber, you were low level, hardly any credits, and a bunch of other things dealing with just the whole thing. It just didn't really give me a feeling of being a fugitive and trying to find Bastila. Sith troopers didn't give a care whether you turned on Bastila's lightsaber and flaunted right up to them (yes I know there is a mod for this so don't post the link), the Lower City guard would let you through the elevator if you got in the Sith armor right in front of him, and the Sith wouldn't really "look" for you at all. You could walk around in republic clothing with a jedi and they wouldn't do anything.

Manaan was probably a good choice too, competing with Kashyyyk (although if Kash. was longer I would say Kashyyyk all the way). There was so many dark Jedi to fight and you could just clean out the Sith Base; I'm am obviously not the kind of person who does his job and gets out- if I have to kill Sith Troopers in a base during a quest, I kill every single one of them:). There were probably three things that really messed up Manaan. 1) Unskippable Selkath Language, 2) Unskippable Selkath Language, and 3) Unskippable Selkath Language. I hated the stupid and unskippable "Entering/Leaving Ahto security zone..." every single time you go to your hangar. There were other things of course. Walking on the sea floor the two times in the envirosuit. You go about 1/2 foot per second, taking up about ten minutes!

Tatooine was ok, I don't know, maybe I just don't really care for it from playing Jedi Academy which had ok levels on Tattoine but got really boring and annoying fast.

Kashyyyk was probably the second best or third. You get to fight Mandalorians, you pick up good items (Bacca's Blade, Circlet of Saresh, etc.), you get to fight Czerka (what else needs to be said?), and you get to help wookies :wookiee:! I just plain liked that planet, it was really fun for me. Just the feel of it was nice, I guess. Although I wish it was bigger (a grand 5 areas-Czerka Landing Port, Great Walkway, Village of Rwookrrorro, Upper and Lower Shadowlands).

Taris and Dantooine are my favourite. Then comes Korriban, Unknown World, Tatooine, Mannan and Kashyyyk.

Taris: a lot of people don't like Taris, but i like it very much. There's just so much stuff to do (i like Peragus in KII aswell, even though many people don't).

Dantooine: i like Dantooine because it just has the right feel to it. I really like how it looks graphicly and spending time with the council is fun aswell.

Korriban: what's there not to like. Like others have pointed out already, you really feel changed when you're finished. Korriban is always the last planet i visit, because i like to tell those Soth that i'm Revan and they think i'm joking. :D

UW: I don't know about you, but i got a deja-vu feel when i was on that planet. :D

Tatooine: I hate the damn desert, it makes you wanna leave quickley and when you do, you feel like you have accomplished something and are happy to finally escape the two suns. And that is why i like it.

Mannan: An OK planet to visit. Graphically speaking, it looks great. There are also some fun places (sith base, underwater base). But overall it's pretty boring and the Selktah are annoying.

Kashyyyk: the Wookies whine too much, Czerka is boring, i like the Shadowlands though.

I love the Leviathan, Star Forge and some other places aswell, but they're not planets, so...
