My favorites are more about series than specific games...my two favorite video game characters are Link and Samus Aran (my avatar is a dead giveaway) so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what my games of choice are. (not to mention what my favorite nextgen system is going to be =)

Back on the NES, besides Zelda and Metroid i was a HUGE fan of Golgo-13 (Duke Togo pwnz) and Blaster Master, which i swear i would have finished if my NES didn't sacrifice itself for the greater good =( the Castlevania series was also bomb altho the games got ridiculously easy. (or maybe the first Castlevania was ridiculously hard)

SNES was all about Super Metroid and A Link to the Past altho i had a wicked one-timer in NHL Hockey and played my own goalie.

Star Wars Episode I: Racer for N64 is still my favorite racing game...so much damn fun.

For PC...all about Carmageddon and MDK. (not MdKnightR) However KotOR2 is by far the game i've spent the most time replaying.

@ Vladimir-Vlada: In the original NWN you can't romance Aribeth. I've heard you can in the Hordes of the Underdark expansion. I can't confrim that yet, as I only recently got that expansion but I'm having trouble with it. I have a new AMD dual core cpu and it appears to be way to fast for NWN. :compcry:

Back on topic: my fav games and characters:

KotOR; Revan, Bastila, Jolee, HK and Mission

KotOR 2:TSL; Exile, HK, Bao-Dur, Zez Ka-El (reminds me of Yoda in RotS- "In exile I must go")

Baldur's Gate 2: SoA+ToB; Irenicus, Minsk,Jan Janssen, Aerie, Sarevok and Lilarcor the intelligent sword :D

Half life 1 & 2; Gordon, Dog

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault; PC

Jedi Knight Series; Kyle Katarn

Red Alert 1 & 2; Tanya, General Carville.

Also C&C Genarals + Zero Hour, Blitzkrieg 2, Rise of Nations and Civ3

Freelancer

Freelancer is also one of my favourites. So is Edison Trent as a character/

James Bond 007: Everything or nothing

I don't have consoles, so I don't know that game. But James Bond is one of my favourite characters overall.

Is there any way to get the game cheaply? I really would like to play it.

The neverhood: Klaymen

The neverhood also included the most epic battle ever: The battle of the robot Bill defending a teddy bear from a weird-robot-dragon-scrap heap-thing.

Pic of battle:myteddy.jpg

That's my most favorite game ever, it was fun, hard, sad, complicated, frustrating, and addicting.

Edit: My apologies, it's "Bil", not "Bill".

Just thought of another one:

Favourite Games:

Omicron: The Nomad Soul

Fahrenheit/The Indigo Prohpecy (A bit short and I believe rushed IMO, but still great)

Favourite Characters:

Omicron: The Nomad Soul: Kael(that's how I call the main character since you start with him), Jenna

Fahrenheit/The Indigo Prophecy: Lucas Kane(The actor who voice-acted him deserves an Oscar. One of the Best Main Game Characters in the history of man kind), Carla Valenti (A intelligent, brave and hard-working person trapped inside a young and beautiful woman that is a police woman... need I say more), Tyler Miles (A bit left out, but he's okay[i couldn't find a decent image of him, but he's a tall dark-skinned man)

^^^

I have to agree with that. I've been playing Fahrenheit just now and I love it. I only have to do the final chapter, but what I have seen so far, has to be the most cinematic game I ever played. It feels more like playing a movie instead of playing a game.

The characters are great and the story is quiet awsome. The only flaw (if you can call it that) is IMO the mediocre graphics. They're ok if you remember that this game was also on X-box and PS2, but don't come close to by example Half-Life 2. I was often dissapointed by how square and edgy it looked. But the maybe I have been spoiled in that area recently.

Anyway this game definitly made it to my personal top 10. :smash:

The graphics look pretty good to me. But I only have a few remarks on some details in the story and the length of it (the story should have been longer and more steady instead of being rushed like this). Well those remarks are (since you've played it, I think that spoilers aren't that neceseary):

The Tiffany romance was a bit cheesy. IMHO Really, he breaks up with the woman a month ago, she comes to take her things and when she leaves you can kiss her and you come back together??? LOL It's like "The Witness" gone bad. I decieded to turn her down after I loaded again before I accepted her because it was stupid; I expected that Lucas would say (after turning down) that he was an idiot. But instead he said:

Besides what have I got to offer her? I couldn't involve her into this.
I applaused for this sentece because someone finally used it somewhere.

I believe that the explanation on how the sacrifices help to locate the... you know, is very much left out as well as what could have Lucas'... abilities (I am not that much of a spoiler to tell you everything) meant and simbolised.

Tyler's role looks a little left out... But it's all right anyway.

The Conflict between the Clans and their roots in the world system could have been a very good aspect of the story.

Now I don't have a very big objection on this (as a matter of fact I wanted it to happen), but how Lucas and Carla fell in love with each other was too quick and simple. Their relationship wasn't developed, it only had the basis (which wasn't a very pleasant one either). She knows Lucas for about... 2 weeks and then she falls in love with the man??? Especially with that woman, who said that she would hunt him like the dog he is??? Rushed and wrapped up if you ask me...

Now there could have been some fire-fights... Just a suggestion, it wouldn't be too bad. :)
