Vidar: And you say we are the ones playing games? Besides even if we do that, who is to say her importance to us is because she is actual the monster you believe her to be?

 

No, we will not play your games. We have everything we came here for, unlike your Blade captors we have information they do not and have no real need to try and make you answer questions.

 

*Vidar turns to leave when Svafa puts a hand on his shoulder. She says a few words in their native tongue and Vidar smiles*

 

Vidar: On the other hand since we do have so much time and our dear Rwos thinks this is just a game. Convince the Blades to sing a merry tune, say about home and we will do as you ask.

K'Warra: *laughs* Certes. Life is a game, is it not? I think it only appropriate that we sing a song about your home among the stars, as I've been stuck there for who knows how long. I've always wanted to see a Blade sing "Twinkle, twinkle, little star."

 

*The Blade with the fiery head hisses*

 

Shane: *speaking to Nereli* We will not do this thing, Sai. We will not participate in this fool's game. This is Rwos' game; the outcome is irrelevant to us. This makes no difference to our mission - we are only here to humor his whim. You cannot order us to do this.

 

Nereli: Let us vote, then. Rwos, Gilian, Tari, Ida, Slythe, Zwara and Morde. Tell me yes or no.

 

Rwos: Yes.

 

Gilian: Yes.

 

Tari: This is foolishness. No.

 

Ida: No.

 

Slythe: Why not? Yes.

 

Zwara: *a slightly built female gargoyle* No.

 

Morde: *a deep-voiced male gargoyle* Yes.

 

Nereli: Four no, four yes. Since I choose yes, the vote stands at 'Yes'. So you are all ordered to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".

 

Shane: This is idiocy.

 

Nereli: Perhaps, but you did volunteer for this mission. If K'Warra could tell us how to sing this tune, as it is not familiar to me.

*The Blades repeat the song, Shane biting the words out without a tune. The two elves - Nereli and Slythe - sing in hauntingly beautiful voices*

*Deac boards a shuttle with a team of 8 soldiers, all in spacesuits, and the shuttle flies toward the asteroid base's docking bay*

 

Deac: Ok people. We could have ANYTHING in there, so stay sharp, don't split up and keep in contact at all times.

Restaurant

 

It didn't take long for Flamehart to arrive at the location, he had a considerably long stride, mostly due to the fact he spends most of his time on the run, either after a target, or being targetted. He stopped upon entering the restaurant, looking around the room for a familiar face. "If I don't notice them first, I'll surely be spotted, I do kind of stick out like a sore thumb with my wardrobe," he thought to himself.

"Oh..." Riebe murmured. At the sight of Flamehart, she vanished. Just as quickly as she'd vanished, she reappeared. "No," she said quietly. Slowly, she stood and turned toward Strider. Then, almost as if she'd become an entirely new person, she stalked over to him, her attitude suggesting that she had recaptured her place as leader of the Sith Hunters, though there were only three remaining.

 

"Been out of contact a while, Flamehart," she said quietly, almost sounding like a scolding mother. Then, she smiled slightly. "Come. Join us."

 

((Flamehart: Strider should recognize Idona and Valda, but he'd call Idona 'Tassia' and Valda 'Kiyala'.))

((Gotcha, I believe Admiral Odin informed me of that too, good thing you reminded me, I almost forgot :p Oh yeah, who's all over by the table, so I don't sound dumb if I say hi to one but not the other.))

 

Flamehart couldn't help but smile at her scolding. "Oh you know me, I only like to pop in every once in awhile to see how the galaxy's doing, give old friends a hand, stir up some trouble, then vanish again without a trace. Keeps people guessing, y'know?" he said to her. "Alright, I'll join you, but try not to land me in another situation where I'll have to fake my death again. I'm running out of ways to kill myself off, they stop buying the same ones after awhile, even if it's a thousand years old or so," Strider added.

"You've caused enough trouble for the moment," Riebe chuckled. She softly punched his arm and then gave him a hug. "Next time you die off, make sure I know the real story, ok? You know you, me, and Jack were the core of the Sith Hunters. Now I find that, while Jack isn't exactly reachable, the three of us are all still living." She looked up at him very seriously. "I don't want to be fooled again."

"Trouble follows in my wake, not my fault," he said with a laugh, and returned the hug. "Well c'mon, did you really think that me, of all people, the one who helped teach at least some things the Sith Hunters used to their advantage, would go down so easy?" Strider asked with a smile across his face. "Fear not, though, you shall not be fooled again," he said reassuringly.

Volmount "Well Mr Talkin Flax, to be honest it'll take a bit to properly introduce myself, however, I am Jedi Master Volmount. I suppose you could say that I am a member of what you could call a Jedi Remnant that kept itself hidden from Darth Sidious and Darth Vader during the Jedi purge and trained younglings during the days of the Empire. So where is Master Skywalker? I must meet with him."

Research Base

 

*The assault transport moves toward the hangar. A large hole is blasted in the doors*

 

Pilot: Looks like something left in a hurry...HOLY! *A stormtrooper corpse collides with the cockpit window*

 

Deac: Can we pilot our way through that?

 

Pilot: I think so it's just...whoa...

 

*The transport enters the docking bay to see a skeletal Star Destroyer berthed there.*

 

Deac: This place is much bigger than we thought. Looks like the power's out.

 

Pilot: According to the scanners, much of this is bare rock. We can dock at a port just up there.

 

*Deac goes into the airlock with the team, suited up*

 

Deac: Ok, we won't have air or gravity. Prepare to blow hatch.

Idona: They seem happy. *Turnign to Godwyn* You've been rather quiet tonight.

 

Godwyn: Far be it from me to interrupt a reuninion.

 

Idona: I doubt it. I know your history, you've been studying us.

 

Godwyn: Do you blame me? The more I know of you the more likely I won't insult you.

 

Idona: No I don't. Though I'm slightly surprised you don't seem to be very suspicous of us.

 

Godwyn: Why should I be?

 

Idona: Recent events, have most of the galaxy thinking we are demons.

 

Godwyn: True, but I have my reasons.

 

Idona: Fair enough.

*The hatch blows, and a rush of stale air enters the airlock. Deac activates the night vision on his helmet and steps through into the dark*

 

Deac: Remember, radio contact at all times, and stay in groups of two minimum. This place is probably full of horrors. Weapons ready.

*They clamber through the dark corridors until they reach a junction*

 

Deac: Ok, squad 2 head to the reactor room and fire her up. We'll hit the database. Do not, I repeat DO NOT go into ANY of the laboratories.

*The comm rings*

 

Deac: Go ahead Akaga.

 

Comm: We've got an ISD on the edge of the system. They'll detect us in about 2 hours. Hurry it up.

 

Deac: Got it. We're heading toward the bridge.

"I daresay you have," Riebe grinned. "Haven't heard a peep out of you since you were supposed dead... unlike myself." She took a deep breath. "But join us at the table. We have five-hundred years of history to catch up on... that'll take a while and while I could and have covered all of it while standing, I think it would be better to be comfortable."

 

She led the way back over to the table, now looking very relieved for having stuck to her original decision to meet up with Flamehart. The meeting had gone far better than she'd thought it would.
