Hmm... well... the only thing that slightly interests me is the Darth Vader game. I'm not interested in Indiana Jones or Lego Star Wars II. What I'm really interested in hearing about from LEC is the status of the next game in the KotOR series.

The question is will LA start bringing out games on a Nintendo console again... cause then I'll be able to play some of these games for once. I had to wait for ages for the first LEGO Star Wars to come out and Eidos must be so proud of themselves for porting it since it sold well.

I am somewhat excited about Lego Star Wars II because I had fun with the first. Even thought it was very easy and short, it was not too bad to play on a day when you were bored.

Meh. Nothing there that excites me much.

Lego Star wars should be fun.

Indy could be interesting but never quite lives up to it's potential.

I've wanted a vader game for year... but now one is happening i just have this feeling they are going to make it a lightweight action game with none of the depth i want.

remember when Lucasarts E3 lineups used to be really exciting, with a dozen or so varied titles? (and not all Star wars either). Sigh.

I'd be most interested to see what they have planned for the revolution and the DS... because if any console is destined for a lightsaber/jedi game surely it is the Revolution?

Bring on the next Indy game, LEC! I'm also curious to see this Euphoria engine in action. From the articles I've read, it will be quite impressive. I hope the script is better than that of Emperor's Tomb. I enjoyed it up until the crummy ending....

2003 was their last great year. Gladius. Secret Weapons Over Normandy. RTX Red Rock. Wrath Unleashed. Sam and Max 2. Full Throttle 2. Sure, Gladius was probably the only one of those worth mentioning and they cancelled 2 games that probably would have been a bigger hit than the ones that were produced. And then there was also a slew of SW titles including KotOR.

Sorry, credibility loss for you, sir ;)

Well, LEGO Star Wars II is coming for PS2, XBOX & 360, GameCube, PC, PSP, DS & GBA ... so they gotcha covered.

But what about the 'Shadow Strike' game? Oh ... that is Ubi ...

I hope more stuff trickles out over the next few months ...

I'm betting that unless some other company twists their arm, there won't be any LA games for the Revolution.

Interested to know what makes you think that... LA have always supported Nintendo consoles a fair bit.. at least at launch. SotE on N64, Lots on GBA, Bounty Hunter and Rebel Strike on GCN.

Assuming the Revolution controller lives up to its potential they'd be daft not to stick a lightsaber game on there.

[edit] Why is ubisoft publishing a SW game?

Back in the old days yes, back in the days of Super Star Wars and Shadows of the Empire LA was eager to release games for Nintendo. However things stalled when it came to the GCN.

Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike is Factor 5's doing, NOT LA's. LA just allowed Factor 5 to use the Star Wars rights and was the distributor. Factor 5 was heavily invested in the GCN.

On a handheld front, the GBA has penetrated the market further than the PS2 has, so that pretty much answers that. However, and this is where LA fails miserably... Bounty Hunter, Clone Wars and Jedi Knight II for the GCN were all mediocre games that no one really liked in the first place... the only two successful SW games to come out were the two Rogue Squadron games.

And so it happened. LA officially announced that they were cutting direct support for the GCN. The GCN did not get the RotS game, and initially it didn't get LEGO Star Wars, and obviously it missed out on all of the other games, some of which I can understand why they never made it for the GCN but my point still stands.

So the only way the GCN and even the DS got support was if another developer had the Star Wars license and was developing a game and decided to release it on the GCN as well.

I foresee that there will not be any LA games for the NRV for a very long time unless the NRV takes off and basically crushes the competition. I imagine that LA will want to support the PS3 and Xbox360 because Star Wars games aren't really about gameplay, they're about playing the Star Wars universe, people buy it cause it has Star Wars printed on it, which is why most SW games these days suck. But that's what gets money. People want big epic games that look exactly like the movies, and the NRV won't give them that.
