RaV™ Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 I still don't think it has anything on the Robot Chicken skit when Vader calls palpy about the Death Star's Destruction.
RaV™ Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Yet you've been here much more longer than I have and you still know nothing
El Sitherino Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 I know where the delete post button is, and that's really all that counts.
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 I know where the delete post button is, and that's really all that counts. Trumped.
milo Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 heh, what a coincidence, I found this video like five hours before you posted it. Very funny:)

RaV™ Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Bruce Lee is awesome. My Coach loves him to death, but yeah the death metal spongebob video is very good.
Mace MacLeod Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Heh, way too funny. The rambling argument about death metal bands in the comments was almost as entertaining as the video itself. Almost. I don't get how people can get so passionate about bands that sound like the cookie monster operating heavy machinery.
CapNColostomy Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Most of it requires some degree of actual skill and talent to play. I'd guess that has something to do with why some people are passionate about it.
Mace MacLeod Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Most of it requires some degree of actual skill and talent to play. I'd guess that has something to do with why some people are passionate about it. The first band I played in was in 1989, and the other guys were major death metal fans. Most of the drummers I've played with since were all death/grindcore fans, but it never did a whole lot for me personally. As a player, I cut my teeth on Metallica (Cliff Burton era, natch), Megadeth, The Cro-Mags, Priest, Anthrax, etc, but Slayer is kind of my upper limit of heavyness for personal listening. My first drummer actually dragged me to a Napalm Death concert once. Gave me a concussion. Sure, it takes skill to play at 2000 bpm, but that doesn't mean the result is going to be very musical. I like to hear things like notes, melodies, catchy riffs, a groove here and there...but hey that's just me.
TSR Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 i despise that sort of music.=| still, the vid was pretty funny.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Q.F.E. WTF?! Does that mean?! That video was...interesting...
milo Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 WTF?! Does that mean?! That video was...interesting... Quoted For Emphasis I think...
RedHawke Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Quoted For Emphasis I think... You would be correct...
TSR Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 commander, if you look at your post "the millenium falcon. its the f*****g millenium falcon" in the ebon hawk vs millenium falcon thread, you had a rather large amount of QFE's. damm you.

I never posted that. I was either Prime or someone else.
CapNColostomy Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Sure, it takes skill to play at 2000 bpm, but that doesn't mean the result is going to be very musical. That, of course, is debatable. I like to hear things like notes, melodies, catchy riffs, a groove here and there...but hey that's just me. You haven't heard of melodic death metal, I take it?
