Diego Varen
Do You Want KOTOR III To Continue After Completion? I think it is a good idea, because you can complete Quests you haven't done or start entire new Quests. Also it would have more replay value. So what do you think? Batono
i think that t should give you a chace to continue donig stuff but not important stuff like killing a Crime lord just little things like completing quest or no to long new quests.
Srob89
I like the idea of continuity. I really think that KOTOR III needs to deal with re-establishing a Jedi Council. Cause we go from KOTOR with a council and the Mandalorian wars, KOTOR II no council, and your the "last" Jedi and then KOTOR III ??? It could be very hard and complex. You(I am assuming the exile or possibly Revan---but then there's a "light/dark side" conflict--) would have to search for "force" sensitives and then train them. Of course there could be tons of possibilities with that. Say you find a Twi'lek and train her/him. Well while training you end up saying something that has a dark side effect. That person could not be a Master Jedi because you influenced them to the dark side because of your training. Okay so have a plot and then have to set up a Council. Thats my 2 cents. But I may not be making sense cause it is late.
Samnmax221
Interesting idea, if randomly generated quests were added in (in the vein of "Wing Commander Privateer" only on the ground) and minigames had more replayability
milo
I like the idea. I'm not sure if I would want it to go on forever, but after you defeated the true sith or whatever, it'd be neat if you could go around and do some unfinished business, tie up some loose ends or something like that. tbl1
Your always given a chance to finish uncompleted quests before you begin the 'end game'. There's always a dialogue option, like the doctor asking you about entering the palace in TSL. KOTOR is not the sort of game that would let you, seeing the two different endings. Eg: The ruler of the sith completing a side quest.
mimic666
Yes this would be great and hopefully you won't lose one of the party members like you did in the first 2.
Prime
I definitely don't want that. When the game is done I want it to be done.
Devilsfanatic
I definitely don't want that. When the game is done I want it to be done. OT: Nice avatar Prime. Im a Devils fan myself, but love the Oilers. Just make the game as long as Oblivion and you won't NEED to do this.
The Source
Do You Want KOTOR III To Continue After Completion? I think it is a good idea, because you can complete Quests you haven't done or start entire new Quests. Also it would have more replay value. So what do you think? I think that each game should have stood on its own. I don't mind seeing a KotOR IV; however, it has to be a 'Stand Alone Complex'. I have plans on renting KIII if it comes out, and I will hold off on buying it. If the game holds well on its own, things make sence, the story has a revelation, and the game play rocks, I will buy it after I rent it. If the story is lost/incomplete, cheesey lines, and nothing intresting has evolved, I will reframe from buying a KotOR III.
RaV™
Sure if it's how Oblivion is then sure.

Jeff
I think you should finish all your quests during the game, and when you beat the final level it should be done. No continuity.

Char Ell
I definitely don't want that. When the game is done I want it to be done.Quoted for emphasis and undeniable wisdom. The end should be "The End," not "The End But You Can Go Back If You Want."
ExileRevan
I like this idea, the end isnt the end. It ends when you complete what you need or want to complete like a non ending, like GTA... well not realy. I think its cool.
darth_yoda2828
Why would Obsidian suddenly feel the need to change the structure of a series of games that already has done extremely well? if you allowed the ending to last forever it would become an open-ended RPG, which would be really stupid for Star Wars. THE END IS THE END. period.
90SK
If I wanted more KotOR after I finished the game, I'd just play it again.
Xbx_Inthusiast
I think KOTOR should just END when it is supposed to end. If it were to continue, it would mess up the storyline drastically. Why would someone want to fight against Malak even after he was killed in KOTOR 1? I personally don't want KOTOR to become another Fable.
Chowganhime
Yes, I think it would be awsome to be able to just fly around the galaxy after completion of the game. It would be cool if you could download new quests and items off of xbox live that you could buy or search for after you completed the game. Pavlos
Nah... When a Star Wars film ends, you get the credits. When a KotOR game ends you should get the credits. Look at it this way: In KotOR I you are thge hero / emperor of the galaxy... you are not really going to go off to help some Twi'lek raise five credits so that they can get off Tatooine. In TSL you have to find Revan and go to the unknown regions, or train people at Malachor. It would be a bit odd if after that final statement, Kreia dies and then you go off galavanting around Nar Shaddaa hurting the Exchange's interests. My point is that: When it ends, it should end. I don't want to save the galaxy from the True Sith and then wander off somewhere. A story driven RPG like KotOR needs to have an end.
Prime
Yes, I think it would be awsome to be able to just fly around the galaxy after completion of the game. It would be cool if you could download new quests and items off of xbox live that you could buy or search for after you completed the game. But that would be so anticlimactic. OMFGWTFROFL th3r3 is a k1tt3n stuck 1n that tr33!1!!111" edited your quote there prime And while an open ending/gameplay like TES IV would be kinda cool, im gonna have to go with keeping it like the first 2.. woogiee
i think KOTOR III shouldnt be open ended for the same reason the others whove said why not said really, it just makes it seem less exciting. though id love to see an open ended Star Wars rpg similar to TES IV
Sith_Reven
you will never here me object to continuing the kotor series or even starwars for that matter. it is a great idea to keep going. as long as they make 'em I will keep buying them.
