IG-64
Pixar managed to do it once again. Cars was a great movie, with hardly a falter from beginning to end. It's really hard to describe just how good it was, you'll just have to go see it for yourself. I also enjoyed One Man Band, some great creativity there. Seriously, Pixar is the only hope for today's youth. In all of the previews they showed of kids movies, the only one that really appealed to me was Ratatuoille, Pixar's next movie, which shows alot of potential. I hope that Disney lets Pixar do their thing in future films; and possibly learns from Pixar's success to once again start making well-done kids films like they used to. So yeah, if you haven't already seen it, go see it, and post your thoughts.
The Seeker
Yeah, if not for Pixar, I would have lost hope in good animated movies. They were getting so bad that for a while there I was thinking that maybe at 22 years old, I was finally outgrowing them. But no, the recent crop has just plain sucked. Cars, on the other hand is typical Pixar brilliance. Not one of these quickie 65 minute long crapfests, but a real, genuine 2 hour long movie with deapth, humor, a wonderful story and a good message. With this one, they proved that you don't need to load a movie with double meaning inuendo for the adults. If it's a good story, it is worth seeing more than once. This is one that I think will be another classic like Toy Story. It's just that good.
jon_hill987
I tell you what CG Animation I have been watching lately, Father of the Pride That show really cracks me up.
Mike Windu
Too many crap CG pop culture reference films out nowadays like shark tales and yes even Shrek. I mean they're funny; but ultimately soulless. Looking at what's coming up: Ant Bully, Flushed Away, Happy Feet Only one I enjoyed was Happy Feet. Ant Bully *might* stand a chance but I doubt it. I love Pixar. They'll keep doing what they're doing. *gets ready to see Cars and Over the Hedge*
MrWally
My father's entire office took a day off to see Cars yesterday, and he said that he really enjoyed it, but thought it did not live up to other Pixar titles, such as Toy Story (which is still saying a lot). Personally, my favorite CG movie of all time would probably be Finding Nemo. While I loved Toy Story and The Incredibles, I though the zenith of all of Pixars films, and CG movies in general, was Finding Nemo simply because of how it beautifully produces a film that appeals to literally all ages, has amazing effects, is laugh out loud funny, and still delivers a good moral. Mike Windu
Finding Nemo is my absolute favorite Pixar movie, with Toy Story close behind. I just heart the fishies. and Crush/Squirt the turtles are freaking awesome.
Crow_Nest
I really enjoyed Cars, probably the 2nd best Pixar movie besides Toy Story and Toy Story 2. The Incredibles will be the worst of them all, which is also considered quite good.

Darth Groovy
Am I the only person who didn't like Finding Nemo? I didn't like it either. I found it kinda noisy, and obnocious, it's like the spoiled brat of the pixar movies. And Ellen Degenerous is just not charming...not even as a cartoon character... abcd1234
I have to agree with the others. I found Finding Nemo to be my least favorite of the Pixar movies.
TiE23
My favorite Pixar movie was probably The Incredibles. Meh. But to anyone who saw the previews in Over The Hedge, what the hell was with that cow movie? And why did all the cows have udders whether or not they were male or female? CapNColostomy
The Incredibles, as a fan of comics from waaay back, was ****ing decent entertainment. I defy anyone to top the original Toy Story though.
IG-64
I personally thought A Bug's Life was their weakest link. But who cares? Every single one of their movies is a masterpiece in comparison to most other kids movies out these days. Did anyone see the preview for "how to eat fried worms"? If I were 8 years old, I would probably still think that movie sucks. If you ever happen to see the preview, listen for the line "Look at all the worms I ate! I'm winning this bet." That line is so poorly delivered, it makes me cringe.
abespam
I loved A Bug's Life, though just for the comedy, i mean the dialogue was so good. Plus it was the first pixar movie to do those hilarious outtakes at the end. Still Toy Story movies top the list and Finding Nemo was yeah ok but not really their greatest work. Of course i judge Pixar movies by their ability to make me laugh and all the jokes in Nemo seem to be rather kiddy rather than hittin all audiences. However i thought the Incredibles were really good, it had so many mature jokes that it was practically an adults movie. Still from what ppl are saying Cars isdefinitely worth watching. toms
The strong part with all the pixar movies is the story, and then the characters. The 3D might have had a lot of wow factor back then but, as subesquent "jump on the 3d bandwagon" movies like Shark's tale, Madegascar etc.. have all shown, if your story and characters aren't up to much then it doesn't matter how wowwee your 3D is. (and surely 3d isn't that impressive anymore, we've seen it all before). Can't say i've enjoyed a single other 3D movie much except the Pixar ones which all rocked. Bugs Life was only average, but Toy Story 1&2, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo were all classics. The only other ones i liked were the shrek ones... but they are a totally different style.. basically being straight out pop-culture comedy. They don't age well tho. Good to hear the Cars keeps up the tradition, i gotta say i was a bit worried it wouldn't. (I think finding nemo should have got oscars for best screenplay, best actress, best comedy and best drama the year it came out... it was just miles ahead of anything else that year. But because it was an animated movies it only seemed tobe considered in that category... as if an animated movie can't have great screenplays or acting. )

Commander Obi-Wan
Wasn't that the year Return of the King came out? If it was 2003, yes. Though, maybe it was released at a different time period.
toms
Though RotK was my least fave of the trilogy. Should have got best film though.. but the screenplay and acting wre definatly better in Nemo...
