Jeff Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I'll hopefully see it sometime this week. My brother got to see it tonight
ET Warrior Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Just got back. Holy crap. That was SUCH a fantastic movie, I can't stop raving and thinking about it. best 2.5 hours I've spent in a long time.
toms Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 *thinks it sucks it doesn't come out in the UK for another few weeks* *mad*

Curt-Man Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Will see ASAP. My bro who isn't much of a superman fan saw it and thoguht it was fan-frickedy-tastic, and he's a great movie critic, so in my brother I trust.
Lorden Darkblade Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 *thinks it sucks it doesn't come out in the UK for another few weeks* *mad* I know how you feel... It will only be on the theaters here day 14!!! AAAAAAAARRRGHHHH!!! I hate the fact that I don't live in the U.S. <_< >_>
Darth Groovy Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I'm gonna try to sneak off and see it Saturday. I was a big fan of Richard Donner's film when I was a kid, and even had the Superman costume with the cloth cape and everything. I also recomend you guys watch the Superman special that has been shown on A&E several times, which highlights the high and low points of a decade of Superman. And yes, where the HELL IS OBI? You think he would come back at least to comment on this. Here is a pic of Kal-.....Obi for old time's sake:
Jeff Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I saw it last night, and I enjoyed it. It was fairly well done I thought, and had some interesting twists. Compared to some other superhero movies, the action was on the smallish side, but that happens when there's no real enemy for superman to actually fight.
Dath Maximus Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 I just saw it again. And to clarify, I didn't see the midnight show the day it came out, I saw the 10 pm show. 2 hours before the midnight premiere.
Mike Windu Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 Was amazing; I didn't get to go at midnight as planned and I missed the 10pmer so I saw it tonight. I wish I was Superman. That's all I can say for now. *dreams of being Superman*
MrWally Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 the action was on the smallish side, but that happens when there's no real enemy for superman to actually fight. That's one reason I personally don't like Superman as much as other major superheroes. He only has one real weakness, which is very rare. And he has WAY too many superpowers (in my opinion). And I know those are 2 reasons why most people really like Superman...but meh. Now GAMBIT on the other hand... I'd love to see a Gambit movie. But don't get me wrong, I'll most definately end up seeing the movie before the end of the week.
Darth Groovy Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 I really liked it. I'll have to see it again to REALLY enjoy it because there were some pricks down in front that made tons of noise through the entire thing. I will NEVER understand why people pay to see a movie, and then make noise through the entire thing. Humanity fails.
Mike Windu Posted July 2, 2006 Author Posted July 2, 2006 At least you didn't have to deal with some idiots who thought they were funny and yelled "WHAT ****IN MOVIE IS THIS?" and some people behind me who spoke French really freaking loudly. oh, and a baby crying to top it off
El Sitherino Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Well, I'll be going to see it Wednesday with a friend. She's already seen it, but she said she'll go see it again with me. \o/
CapNColostomy Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 I really liked it. I'll have to see it again to REALLY enjoy it because there were some pricks down in front that made tons of noise through the entire thing. I will NEVER understand why people pay to see a movie, and then make noise through the entire thing. Humanity fails. I don't hesitate to, as loud as I can, yell "SHUT THE **** UP" in such situations. It's almost always teenage kids making all the noise, and they scare easy.
Mike Windu Posted July 3, 2006 Author Posted July 3, 2006 Woah dude. Nice rant. I really hate it when my popcorn is unequally buttered
El Sitherino Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Maybe they were laughing because Hostel was such a stupid movie, and they couldn't help but laugh at how dumb the deaths were.
Curt-Man Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Superman returns.....friggen epic. The openeing credits were probably the most intense thing i've ever sat through. I loved it, it was a great movie, and superman was friggen superman to the max, so damn great. And man, Lex was so evil!
