Thats look really cool, i wasn't so intresed in the Vader game before, but if thats in-game or you can do things like that i just got intresed

It was in the Secrets of starwars 07 part of Hyperspace which is where they are posting all the concept work for the Vader game.

 

its a pre-vis of how force powers and such will work in game.

hmmm.. I had initially seen that awhile ago (pre E3) and back then it was introduced as a glimpse of some new tech engine/physics models (forgot the specific name) Lucasarts was working on. It was never mentioned what it actually was. Some people got excited and were hoping it would be incorporated into a JK sequel ?? In any event, if it does end up in the Vader game, then it wouldn't be a huge surprise :p

 

interesting though :)

No matter what game LA decides to incorporate this physics demo in, they've at least "hooked" me as a customer.. well, unless it's a MMORPG :whacked: hehehe...

So it's just a tech demo. Oh well.

 

I was gonna say, it was either that or it was going to be some console only RPG or Episode III game-esque type thing. Something not worth getting excited over, really...

 

 

We'll see what they do with this "technology"... ;)

I doubt they would waste good talent like that on another SW Galaxies-like debacle...

I truly hope so... I'm beginning to have a little less faith in LA's (and affiliates) decisions ever since they announced making a roller-coaster game :eyeraise: hehehe..

 

I seriously can't see how they think this would bring in more of a profit than a KotOR 3...

 

But I digress and it's diverting the topic :o

There were those rumors about Bioware making a new Star Wars MMO. Who knows.

 

For the video, it looks like it'll be an actiony type game. Like the next Jedi Knight or something.

I'm definitely hoping they'll make the next JK game using the new engine.

Definately...At first I thought: "KotOR", but the stormtroopers convinced me that it's JK, cause if it's the Darth Vader one, why have other Jedi as main characters in the pre-vis? Plus that guy using DS powers is very JK-ish to me...

But it was just a tech demo, so the fact that there were stormtroopers doesn't really matter.

 

But I think Phreak is right. The vid shows features that would seem to be suitable to an action/FPS type game...

Yeah but even if it is a tech demo, why go through all that trouble to create Stormtroopers and get voice acting done and everything? They could have just used regular looking people then...I agree with Phreak too, that's what I meant with the dude using Force Lightning...

That looks ace. About the stormtroopers - They could be just for testing but they could also be part of the game - And the guy using DS powers that looked Jedi it can happen?

Exile? Rouge? or Even stolen saber.
