Is that how long that Led Zeppelin song is? Anyway I haven't listened to any of The Beatles, The Who, Queen Tracks non-stop. Although I have played certain tracks for ages, like The Beatles' Day Tripper, like The Who's Who are You and like Queen's Dragon Attack.

Diego Varen
no, the studio is 6:26 and the live versions vary from 18-35 mins. Well I always remember hearing that Led Zeppelin had long tracks. I'm going to have to listen to them sometime, because the only two tracks I like are Immigrant Song and A Whole Lotta Love.
Master Jimmy
The reason why it's that long is because Jimmy pulls out a violin bow and also breaks the strings in a certain part. like here
Mav
um, I listened to Eye of the Tiger, on repeat for the half an hour drive it took me to get to my school from my house for my football game, thought it would help pump me up... we won the game, but I now hate that song... Ztalker
One time, I loaded up some songs up my MP-3 player. I had just formatted my computer, and forgot to install the apropriate Medi Player 'synchronise' thingy. So when I was sitting on my bicycle to school the next day, I found out that only the first CD of papa Roach (his worst, SERIOUS only his latest 3 albums are good). But to hold the illusion of me having a cool MP-3 player and listening to it for my friends, I kept listening. I also decided I should give it a chance. My brain hasn't recovered yet...listening the complete cd 4 times... PS: I know it isn't exactly a 'standalone' song, but i though I'd share... Mace MacLeod
Is that how long that Led Zeppelin song is? No, it just seems that way. The single greatest number of times listening to the same song(s) over and over again was probably the last time a band I was in recorded a CD in the drummer's basement studio. Technically, I was the engineer so I got to hear the same 10 songs for about two months solid. Good thing they were mainly my songs, so I didn't mind hearing them so much. Raven_Onasi
I listen to a Nick Lachey song on repeat for three hours. I fell asleep shortly after that.
Jae Onasi
Whatever the length "Hey, Jude" is. I can repeat a song if I'm practicing singing for something like a choir cantata or trying to learn the words, but 5 or 6 is about the max I can repeat it before it makes me batty. Terran I
Child in Time, I listen to it whenever I get angry, so I play it couple of times, and a few hours go by very fast and easy, and I am calm after that, so my answer is >60'!
Pho3nix
I think I had The Von Bondies - C'mon C'mon on repeat for an hour or two.
Samuel Dravis
I very rarely listen to just one song over and over... usually my mp3 player/winamp is set to random. I might listen to one cd for several plays if I just bought it or something though. For a single song, maybe 3 or 4 times and I get tired of it, even if it's really good (gotta get some bad songs in so I properly appreciate the good ones ). mimartin
I never just listen to one song over and over like that. However, one Christmas Eve I made a Photo DVD for a friend of mine of her son. It was the first time I used the program and before the easy to use programs of today, so I listened to Rod Stewarts - Forever Young about 40 times that night. I did not like the song before that and despise it now. I believe Hey Jude is seven minutes long. Give that man a cigar. The version on my ipod is 7:04. Very good! Give that man a cigar. The version on my ipod is 7:04. Very good! I could listen to Forever Young maybe 2 times through before I couldn't stand it anymore. I'm not a Rod Stewart fan. Commander Obi-Wan
Probably either "The Kraken" or "Wheel of Fortune" from the Pirates II soundtrack for maybe 30 minutes two weeks ago.
Char Ell
I once fell asleep listening to a CD of Gregorian chants. The CD player was set to repeat so it kept playing them over and over. I never recall having so many disturbing dreams as I did that night. I finally woke up about 3 in the morning, turned off the CD player, and promptly threw away the CD. I don't know if listening while sleeping constitutes "listening" as far as this thread's question goes.

El Sitherino
I'm not sure the longest I've listened to any one song, I do remember listening to "Yo-Yo Ma: Silk Road Journeys - Beyond the Horizon" for about 4 days straight, once. That was a fun camping trip. (read that as you may)
