milo
OMFG THIS IS GONNA BE SO ****ING AWESOME. One more reason to get a 360.
swphreak
My thoughts from the thread in the Swamp: Ug, I am not even remotely excited, nor will I hype myself over this. Until I get my hands on the Demo from marketplace, I will reserve judgement. And I'm not too happy over Ensemble Studios being involved. The Age of Empires lineage has grown stale in my book. I played the BFMEII Demo for the 360, and the controls were just too whack. I wish Bungie wasn't such an Xbox whore and would release the game for PC. Char Ell
I wish Bungie wasn't such an Xbox whore and would release the game for PC.Both Bungie and Ensemble are owned by Microsoft Game Studios. Unfortunately Microsoft's actions seem to be conflicted when it comes to their releasing games for Xbox 360 and PC. Ah well, just another reason for me to be annoyed with Micro$oft. Negative Sun
The only RTS that I ever liked was Empire at War, and even then it got quite boring sometimes...
Prime
Is this going to be nextgen Starcraft-esque? Not that that would be bad...
stingerhs
bah, when will they realize that RTS games belong on the PC?? there's a lot to be said for point and click functionality vs move-joystick-and-then-press-a-button. other than that, the game sounds awesome. besides, if i'm not mistaken, Halo was originally slated to be an RTS early on in the dev cycle @ Bungie before they turned it into an FPS. of course, that was even before they slated Halo to be released on the Xbox first....[/ramble]

Have you played either Starcraft or Warcraft? EaW is pretty mediocre compared to the games that Blizzard makes. Actually, most all RTS games are mediocre compared to Blizzard...IMO anyway. Sabretooth
Friggin hell, I should have known, Ensemble is working on it. The bums screwed up Age of Empires III like hell, and by God, if they use that engine again, I'll burn them. halo's a great game as an FPS and I say that we leave it at that. Unless Halo 3 does something good, I have a strange feeling, that the Halo movie and the RTS are going to suck...

The only reason I played EaW is because I love SW so much...RTS just isn't my cup of tea I think hehe, but I might give those a try at some point, I'm sure I can find a demo somewhere... Fiestainabox
I was insterested, but RTS isn't my bag, I prefer Third person over the shoulder tactical shooters, ALA Ghost Recon 2 (Advanced Warfighter Blew the Chunk for original Xbox) I bet though, that it will come out For PC, after a couple of months. M$ tends to do that with the Halo Seris. They Know anything with the Masterchiefs face on it will sell, so why not sell it twice?
RaV™
if it ever comes to the pc, i'll get it. Though there is much inconsistencies about it already.
