Happy Thanksgiving.

We're going to spend time at my dad's place--imagine about 25 of us all sitting around a table laughing, talking, watching football, eating like pigs.... And since turkey's on sale right now (can't beat 38 cents/lb for meat) and we'll have eaten so much dad won't have many leftovers, Jimbo and I will make our own 20 lb turkey (again) for us 4 maybe this weekend or next. :)

No need to clarify, Pottsie. Some of us got your point first time around. :)

And Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Enjoy your turkeys (or if you're a vegetarian, your tofu), your pumpkin pie, the Macy's parade, and American football!

Still don't get it. But yeah, have a nice thanksgiving.

@ shem - Nice one!

Well he is the Bane of LucasForums.

D@mn Straight!:xp:

Excuse me, I don't quite follow. Isn't Bane of LF and Lord Darth Bane same person?

The "real" Darth Bane was Bane of The Sith, my name is Lord Darth Bane making me Bane of Lucasforums. Pottsie simply pointed this out for me beating you to the punch on posting up this thread. How's that for clarity?:)

Ehm, before things start getting ugly here...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! May all you materialistic Americans get tons of things that induce pleasure. :xp:

Even though you're trying to be funny/silly, just calling Americans "materialistic" can make things ugly, especially since that's a stereotype. Not all Americans are materialistic. In fact being materialistic is a world wide practice based on individual personalities, rather than a specific country. Though our country is fortunate to have a lot of wealth and access to good things doesn't mean we all are materialistic. Anybody who has great desires to have material wealth, whether they can get access to it or not can be considered materialistic.

Fixed!

I would have said something anti-american here... but I decided otherwise. :)
