Happy New Year!!!

Wow, you should have seen it. When I got to the balcony, everywhere I looked I saw fireworks, all over the city! It's like every house had its own private stash! And mind you, I have a great view on the city from my apartment.

I know that some people have to wait a while longer until 2007 comes, but it would be nice to know how New Year was celebrated where you live, so do share. :D

Happy new year, everyone. It's now January 2007 here as well.

The weather forecasts had promised some bad weather, but fortunately that seems to have been delayed a few hours. No low clouds, only moderate winds, and a pretty spectacular view of fireworks over two cities across the water in the distance. Nice when things work out well for once. :)

Edit: Thanks for answering my question HerbieZ.

Edit 2: I hope this year is better for me overall, but so far, it has been. Seven is supposed to be a lucky number.

My first Post in 2007, with several edits. Happy New Year Forumites (Yes it is now January 2007 here in the UK) and after a dance and a singsong to Soulman on the Jools Holland Hootenanny 2006 on BBC 2, I'm ten minutes late to post. I'm sad 2006 is over, but two years ago, or should I say three years ago, that was the best year of my life so far. 2004. Happy New Year once again.

It's 2007 + 15 minutes here now. I had to make do with training my Binoculars on distant fireworks and listening to one of my neighbours play his Scotland the Brave/Amazing Grace medley on his bagpipes. I should really make plans to actually do something next year :)
