Datheus
With the holidays behind us, I thought now would be a good time for a console roll call! I allowed selection for multiple choices, so go ahead and pick which ever applies to you! And I'm sure you'll all post your response in the plain English. So sound off already! swphreak
I have a 360, and I may or may not buy a Wii within the next 4 years or when the price drops to $150. I highly doubt I will ever buy a PS3 since I doubt the price will ever drop to $400.
MTV2
im waiting for the 360 v.2 to come out with the 120GB HDD (not known if it will come with the system or seperate) HDMI output. and some other things i forget. the PS3 is the best, a Console, Blu-Ray player, and Grill! ill prolly get a Wii first then see about a 360 and PS3. i want to get all 3, but it might just be a waste of money, and ill prolly regret it later too. i really dont know yet. i love the PS3 for its HDD, Blu-Ray, PSP connectivity and HD games(and its looks...just looks sexy to me). i like the 360 for its games and how you can change the HDD (if they come out with a 120GB one) and the Wii for its awesome controller and gameplay(and cheapness). Pho3nix
I'm waiting for the PS3 prize to lower...but I'm not a 100% sure if I'm going to buy it or not. We'll see when GTA IV comes out.
BongoBob
GTA IV isn't PS3 exclusive you know... I've got a Wii, and plan to buy a 360 soon. Probably once they bring out the second revision of it.

Commander Obi-Wan
I own a Wii. I am contend with it for the time being. And I may buy the PS3 if/when the price drops and same with the XBOX 360 since both have games I want, that aren't availible for the Wii.

milo
I'm thinking I'm gonna get a Wii sometime soon. Zelda just looks too cool to pass up. I'll probably buy a 360 too, but that probably won't be for another year or so. Waitin' for new version/price drop/Halo 3/Mass Effect.

Mercid
Xbox360 for all around goodness. The main thing's that are awesome incarnate on the xbox are: *The ability to listen to any music I want while playing a game.(Ingame playlist's, yay!) *Awesome game line-up. *Turning off the xbox with my controller... priceless... Are you able to make custom playlist's on the Wii? just askin'.
IG-64
Have a Wii, planning on getting a PS3 around the time MotorStorm comes out, hopefully. My plan is to use the $200 I have saved up for a third, then have my brother chip in for another third, and then have someone else pay the last third. If that someone happens to be my sister, we'll keep it at that, but I doubt she'll have the money, so I'll either have my parents pay it or my brother just pay the rest with his cash (he has a lot) and whoever pays gets paid back later. However, If no one besides me wants to pay anything, I'm pretty much screwed till I get a job (probably this summer). Bah, it's complicated. Heh, man. Totally how I got the 360. My brother and I bought the main console and my sister payed for the extra games. But you still forget, $600 + Game or two + Extra Controller + HDMI Cable (if needed) + Sales Tax on all of that. You're looking at around $900 for a good set-up. You can get a bundle at Costco with a game and extra controller for less than a PS3... <_> However, If no one besides me wants to pay anything, I'm pretty much screwed till I get a job (probably this summer). Bah, it's complicated. Yeah, making money is fun. *Holds up $136.26 paycheck from last week* Yeah...

Mercid
Excite Truck. But when it comes down to it, no one who has a Wii cares about having a custom playlist at all. Are you sure? I might... me having an addiction to music and all... P.s: I was not trying to bait Wii owner's in my last post, I was merely asking a question. Just to clear up any confusion's that might occur. Lynk Former
I know you weren't trying to bait. My point was that there are clear distinguishable audiences that Wii and Xbox360 are trying to capture and they're very different from each other. Not every game benefits from having cutom playlists. All in all, that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy both though, there are many Wii60 supporters.
IG-64
I don't really get the custom playlist thing. I mean wouldn't it be easier just to turn down the music in the game's options and play music from something else?
Mercid
Yes... But it replaces the original music(most of the time), meaning you can play and listen to music. Right now I've got alot of mp3's I play off of a flashdrive. Its a bit confusing, you see you press the menu button(the button in the middle with the 360 logo) and you'll see something that lets you play music from the hardrive or from a portable device. Ingame! You might not have a high opinion of it, but I think it rules!
Lynk Former
I've done that before... I used my GCN, and my PC which has a second screen and a second usable mouse XD I was able to control the music using the second screen and mouse on winamp and play the GCN with its sound up, minus the ingame music... Of course not everyone can do that and that's why the custom playlist thing exists, though I haven't heard many Xbox fans brag about it, at least not when they have Xbox Live to brag about which is completely understandable lol. Mercid
Other people don't care about music like me... But then again maybe they never bothered to find out about it.
