Quanon
Bora Cho went to one of the decks below in the belly of the boat . The boat shook and wobbled while it plunged throw the water. Bora Cho laughed , this was a fun sensation . But he turned to business , looking around and between the many wagon and beaste of burden he found a bucket . " Just what I needed and now for some water , shouldn't be that difficult . " : he thought , taking a rope . With a thight knot around the handle of the bucket he threw it in the sea . " Voila . Time to shave all this mess of . " : chuckled Bora Cho , while he rubbed his beard and greassy long hair . He took out the lavender soup he bought of Aya , mixed it up with some herb-salve of his own and smeered the mix on his beard . Out of his bag he took a small knife and started to cut away the long locks of hair . The boat rocked heavly but with great skill Bora Cho avoited to cut him self . He stroked his chin , smooth and soft as babyskin . Time for those messy hairs to go off aswell . After an half an hour work , his head was bold and smooth . To look at the result Bora Cho took out a small piece of mirror glass . " Hello handsome . " : said Bora Cho to himself . To his suprise his tatoes where still there , geometrical patterns , waved with ancient writings ... brightly smaragd-blue . He stood up , tried to clean up most of his hair and ditched it in the bucket . At the front of the ship he threw everything overboard , ignoring Xan and his companoins . He looked how his past got dissapeared in the depths of the sea , some hairs flew away on the wind . " Beautifull . " : muttered Bora Cho , tears fell from his eyes . Rogue Nine
"You're good," Carwyn told Aya. "I didn't think you'd guess so fast. Yes, that's my mom Avery and my sister Chryseis." Leaning closer, he pointed to the blonde and lowered his voice. "She's the actual reason I'm going to Ryuu-Tokai."
Darth_Velrogh
Istergard had stayed behind in the port admiring the calm sky only pierced by the seagulls, the activity and odour that floated through the air, so peaceful. Suddenly he heard a bell ring and turned to the boat noticing it was leaving, he ran at full speed whispering something, he reached the border and jumped ending his whisper. Istergard as in mid-air when he became transparent, in his face you could see right through the skin into his skull, dark smoke involved him spinning and the necro-warrior vanished in thin air, reappearing on the boat. Landing in his knees and getting back up, he was a bit tired but nothing more. Turning around, the land was already at a remarkable distance. Istergard was unable to get sea sick, never knowing why, so he walked towards the railing and took a deep breath of fresh air. Then turned his attentions to what was happening aboard. The ranger and Aya were going to the hold so he decided to follow them; as soon as he entered it he noticed the smell right away, Aya was putting some kind of salve in the ranger’s hands. He covered his mouth and nose with one hand and passed by them heading to Kyo and Akira just on time to hear the last one say: “So, alongside the trip, wanna spar?” “Count me in on that.” Istergard replied appearing behind both of them. “Getting rusty, need the training. Don’t want the White Guard to get me unprepared.” He said coldly, smirking when he remembered that they’re still after him.
Grace
Xan jerked slightly as he heard Takara, he looked around until his unfocused eyes settled on her. "Oh...yes, quite captivating," he said saddly. Xan listened for awhile as Takara conversed, and her son joined her. "Yes," he said softly, "I'd live by the coast as well." Then her comments became a question, and he frowned in sadness as he thought. "I...am no wonderor...I only travel because it keeps my past away from me," he said saddly, quietly, and reverently. "But, my job used to keep me in one place, I didn't mind, I've already seen the world...it's beautiful, strange, but nothing special," he said to Takara. Xan paused, he noticed he was being very depresive, so he changed the subject. "So, you like traveling? Where've you been?" He asked curiously. "Not enough places to speak of," Takara answered, laughing softly. "When I was a little girl, I traveled with my parents many different places that I don't remember. By the time I could remember anything, my mother died and my father settled for a year. Then, we traveled together. I believe we went to Ryuu-Tokai once." She shook her head. "Then, I met and married my husband..." Her voice trailed off. With a grimace, she determined it would be best to continue. "We settled. He wandered off, got himself killed. I went back to my father, gave birth to my son. We traveled together until Katsuro was three. Then, I went alone for a year." Her expression darkened and it became obvious she was not going to give any details about that year alone. "I returned to my father after that and took Katsuro with me. We've been traveling together ever since." She frowned thoughtfully. "Eight years." She turned to observe the guard thoughtfully. "You say that the world is beautiful, but nothing special. In my times of travel, I have seen many great and beautiful things. I have also seen terrible things. Yet I cannot believe that I will find nothing special. Perhaps that is why I travel. I have not yet found what I seek."

JasraLantill
"You're good," Carwyn told Aya. "I didn't think you'd guess so fast. Yes, that's my mom Avery and my sister Chryseis." Leaning closer, he pointed to the blonde and lowered his voice. "She's the actual reason I'm going to Ryuu-Tokai."Aya's brow raised. "Oh?" she asked quietly. "Does she live in the city?" She looked at the picture of the lovely blonde woman again, and let out a quiet, wishful sigh. "Is she a theatre actress? They're always so pretty." Rogue Nine
Carwyn chuckled, but his voice had little mirth in it. "Actually no. The truth is somewhat more prosaic." He took a seat on a barrel. "I'm looking for her. No one has seen her in years." He shifted, his body language looking uncharacteristically uncomfortable. "My mother is ill and not able to make extended journeys. She made me promise that I would find Chryseis and bring her home." He looked down at his gloved hands and clasped them into fists. "I've been all over this continent and I haven't been able to find her. Ryuu-Tokai is my last hope."
JasraLantill
Aya's brow creased with deep concern. "That's... that's so very sad," she said in a small voice. "I can't even imagine what it would feel like to not know where my brother Rui was. Even less not to have seen him for years on end. You must feel so... empty." She took a deep breath and exhaled with resolve. "I'll help you look for her. I know the city pretty well. And I know people there--shop owners, bartenders, livery managers.... I'll put the word out for her." She paused, thinking that maybe Carwyn wanted to keep his mission low profile. "That is, if you want me to." Rogue Nine
"That would be good," Carwyn replied. "I have no contacts whatsoever in the East, so any help would be great." He took the locket carefully in his gloved hands and closed it, then slipped it into a coat pocket. "Could you keep it discreet, though?" he asked quietly, his voice becoming rueful. "I don't think she wants to be found."
JasraLantill
Aya nodded in agreement, but her brow remained creased. It hadn't even occurred to her that Carwyn's sister might not have wanted to be found. Certainly, there was more to her story, but as the ranger was obviously uncomfortable discussing it, Aya didn't press him for details. Perhaps when they found his sister, all would be revealed. "So, where are you planning on staying in Ryuu-Tokai?" she asked him, changing the subject. "My father and I always used to stay at the Smoking Dragon Inn. It's a nice place, but not prorten... pertens...." She sighed as she stumbled over the word 'pretentious.' "Not snobby, if you know what I mean." She grinned. "Kind of a misleading name though--The Smoking Dragon. They don't allow pipe smoking in the great room, only in the courtyard in the back." Rexraptor2000
While everyone was busy socializing and such, Toa was over is a less crowded corner losing his stomach, his face green. It wasn't so much the shifting of the ship, as Toa had been on the Diamond Ships of the magma sea a few times, but the spray of the water, the coolness in the air, some other watery factors, and a bit of the shifting too, although more of the others than that. Then he had a sudden wave of homesickness which caused him more grief. He missed home badly, and so far he didn't like any place he'd been to so far, but he had promised his mentor that he would would to these places. ForceFightWMe12
Kyo adjusted his blade on his shoulder, pulled his gloves tighter...and turned back to the wood in his hand. "You two can go ahead," he said to Akira and Istergard, "I'd rather not get myself hacked up before we reach Ryuu-Tokai."
Rogue Nine
Carwyn's grin returned to his face. "Just as well, since I don't smoke," he replied. "Anyway, I don't know where I'm staying, since Ryuu-Tokai is totally foreign to me. So I guess I'll be shacking up wherever's cheapest." He looked at Aya. "If this 'Smoking Dragon Inn' is fair to the wallet and not pretentious as you say, then it might be good for me too."
Jason Skywalker
"Suit yourself Kyo. As for you Istergard, when we camp, as for me, i'm getting some sea breeze," Akira said, going to the edges of the boat. He stood over them, inhaling the clean and sweet air of the sea. When something got up to his throat. He then vomited onto the water. "Damn, i forgot i get seasick..."
Master_Archon
"You say that the world is beautiful, but nothing special. In my times of travel, I have seen many great and beautiful things. I have also seen terrible things. Yet I cannot believe that I will find nothing special. Perhaps that is why I travel. I have not yet found what I seek." Said Takara at last. Xan looked off, he was thoughtful of this. "I...traveled in the military...the southern army, you might say, seeing as how I grew up in the south," he stated. "I....lived....a nightmare....I saw men's heads torn from their bodies without weapon or machine, but with bare hands," he said, his voice shaky. "You've seen terrible things, I've seen horrors, go figure," he said in sarcasm. "I'd say the sea is beautiful, it reminds me of...them," he said weakly, and saddly. "The mountains are gorgeous, the plains are vast, awe inspiring, while the magma rivers of the west are majestic, yet I found these to be mere nothings when I think of them...hm," he sighed. "They, you wonder who they are, are best left in my memory," he said, before Takara, or Katsuro could even ask about them. Xan leaned on the railing, sighing once more, he stared off saddly. After some silence he stood up, turning back to Takara, "you say you cannot believe you'll find nothing special...have you found anything special...here?" He asked raising his hands and arms, turning, motioning to the ship, the people, the sea, and the fading city-port, and land behind them. "Do you find something, an object, a person, a place, special, that is here?" He questioned a second time, lowering his arms.
Darth_Velrogh
Istergard couldn't help but laugh at Akira's actions. ForceFightWMe12
((OOC: Where is everyone?? )) As the other two departed and the flap to the wagon fell into place again, Kyo began to settle back into the darkness. The knife in his hand continued to work against the wood in his other, his eyes hardly keeping track of the movement. For some unknown reason, the wandering swordsman had always loved the dark. Perhaps it was because people - who were always so open, susceptible to those around them - were most easily hidden in inky blackness? His subconcious was busy recording every word he heard spoken outside the wagon - the only thing he actually heard was the sound of the voices, and he recognized them easily. Carwyn and Aya seemed to be getting closer as the caravan went on. It was rather interesting, really...he had never been around the same people long enough for him to observe the creation of a relationship. It was fascinating. Jason Skywalker
Akira saw Toa go inside the boat and he followed him, only just barely hearing what he said. "If you can spare some time from flirting with Carwyn, Aya, I'd like to-" Toa began to say before he lost his stomach again. Darth_Velrogh
Istergard laughed quietly when he saw the other two man trying to flirt Aya. Look like she is popular amongst them he thought smiling. Istergard was tired, before he had hidden in the caravan, 3 paladins of the White Guard had confronted him, it was a hard battle and Istergard got wounded in the shoulder, he wouldn't have even been touched if he had let the "Beast" take over. He walked around the boat till he found a good spot to take a small nap.

JasraLantill
"If this 'Smoking Dragon Inn' is fair to the wallet and not pretentious as you say," said Carwyn, "then it might be good for me too." Aya brightened. "Great!" she said to him. "I'll put in a good word for you with the innkeeper. He was a good friend of my fathers," she added. "And it'll be nice to have some company for dinner." Just then Bob whickered, letting her know someone was approaching. "If you can spare some time from flirting with Carwyn, Aya, I'd like to-" Toa began to say before he lost his stomach again. After he was finished, he resumed saying "-see if you have anything for a seasick pyromacer." "Yeah...for me too," Akira said, tired and a bit jealous. Flirting?! Aya thought. Her eyes widened a bit and her face went ashen. She liked Carwyn. He was easy to talk to and she enjoyed his company, but she didn't want him to think ill of her. She hadn't meant to be flirting, only to be friendly and helpful. She bit her lip as she heard her father voice in her head, "Be careful when dealing with unfamilar men. Be cordial and polite, but not too friendly or you'll be in danger of giving them the wrong impression. You're a merchant, but that doesn't mean everything you possess is for sale." "Erm... s-sure," she replied to Toa, and she hurriedly wiped off the salve from her hands onto Bob's furry coat. She rummaged quickly through her pack. She pulled out a small bag of herbs and a small vial. "There's a tea you can brew, if you can keep it down. And there's this." She handed him the vial. "Just place a few drops of this scented oil on a cloth and hold it up to your nose. The scent should soothe you. And," she continued, "if you do have to go on deck, don't look at the horizon. That's what always does me in," she added. She handed the tea to Toa and Akira, then looked askance at Carwyn. A worried furrow began to form across her brow. In a quiet, shy voice, she said, "Was I...?" She shifted uncomfortably. "Do you think I was flirting with you? I-I didn't intend to."
Rogue Nine
Carwyn blinked. He wasn't quite sure if he'd heard the comments correctly. Judging from Aya's worried expression and pale look, he guessed he did hear right. This deeply amused him. Breaking into another wide grin, he said, "Well, now that's a first. Someone accuses the pretty lady of flirting with me instead of the other way around." He chuckled, looking at the pyromancer and the swordsman. "If anyone is guilty of calling undue attention to himself, it's me," he told them. Holding up his gloved hands, he continued, "Though I can hardly be blamed for the quality of the roping on this rig. Aya was kind enough to help me out with the results of my clumsiness as well as you all with your various maladies. If that's construed as flirting, then perhaps it is a social more from this region that I'm not quite familiar with yet." He turned to face Aya, who was still looking a bit shaken up. Adopting a lofty, chivalrous tone, he said, "To answer your question, fair maiden, I would not consider myself worthy to be the subject of your flirtations." He took one of Aya's hands in his own and dropped to one knee. "But if you were indeed doing so," he continued, "allow me to repay the favor in kind." He brought her hand to his lips and kissed it, coming away with a stray smudge of horse salve on the tip of his nose. Straightening up, stepped back and took a deep theatrical bow. "Now, if you will excuse me, I must go cast my erstwhile flirtations on the water barrel to rid myself of a curiously odorous stench that has mysteriously befouled my nostrils with a pungent, decidedly equine flavor." He held his noble pose for a few moments, then turned and quickly headed for the water barrel. Lord, I'm such a dork, he thought to himself as he skidded along. But hopefully I've put her and everyone else at ease. She's such a sweet girl and I don't want to cause her any trouble.
Grace
After some silence he stood up, turning back to Takara, "you say you cannot believe you'll find nothing special...have you found anything special...here?" He asked raising his hands and arms, turning, motioning to the ship, the people, the sea, and the fading city-port, and land behind them. "Do you find something, an object, a person, a place, special, that is here?" He questioned a second time, lowering his arms. "The world is occupied by a few remarkable people," Takara answered slowly. "The rest are idiots or common. In my life, I have run into a few of those remarkable people. And I recognize that I am still young. There may still be a few run-ins with them in the future." She turned and looked back over the ship. "And a few of the people here are unusual... if not remarkable..." she murmured. The tone of her voice indicated she was speaking to herself, but the words were easily overheard by Xan. ((Sorry, Archon, I somehow got it in my head that I'd already replied to this... now I know better ))
