Burnseyy Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 JC beat me to it! They do look good though. O.K., I'm definitly making my friends learn Pazaak now. It is not hard, and I could see them getting into it. Especially for money...I'll try to avoid Narr Shaddaa rules though. I won't even mention it, don't want to give them any ideas... ~HOP Lucky you. My friend already knows.
Seamhainn Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Cool cards, JC! What about the backs? Did someone order them by now?
JCarter426 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 The backs are there, last one on row 2. And thanks. I'm still figuring out if there's a way to order a bunch but have them shipped to different addresses. Anyone know if it's doable?
Astor Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 They look awesome, and I bet they'll be great for some characters in the Pen and Paper RPG. I can already see some of the players in my group shuffling them when they're not doing anything...
PoiuyWired Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Hmm, too bad you cannot do the same with Scabbat, due to shifting. Now, if everyone own 4-5 ipods technically it is posssable to program a RL scabbat game.
Boba Rhett Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 HEADS UP! GET A DECK OF PAZAAK CARDS FOR UNDER 3 DOLLARS. Go through the same process I spelled out in my previous post. At checkout put in the following Checkout Coupon Code: PC298 $2.98 with FREE SHIPPING. JUMP ON THIS. DO IT. DO IT NOW.
ChAiNz.2da Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 DO IT. DO IT NOW. Thought you might need some back up Rhettsky
Revan 411 Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Thanks Boba Rhett for the tip! And nice pictures there Carter.
JCarter426 Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 For some reason the coupon isn't working. I get a message saying it's activated, but when I go to place the order, it's still charging me the regular price, plus $16 for shipping. Anybody know what's wrong? EDIT: Meh, damn thing won't let me order anything now.
Seamhainn Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Any news on this topic? For that price I'd buy three or four decks. Did you get multiples of the basic ones?
mattig89ch Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I wouldn't take much to print your own...just some manila paper (like poster board), a color printer, and some imagination. You could use these designs: http://dhost.info/rissa/CardGames/pazaak_board.jpg. And you could probably do it through paint.
Boba Rhett Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Link isn't working for me. Yeah, you could make your own but for under three bucks you can't really afford not to go the artscow route.
Seamhainn Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Did anyone get a deck which can be displayed here?
cybergrunt Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Did anyone see the deck at http://www.xiii.dk/ccccd/Pazaak/pazaak.htm?
JesusIsGonnaOwnSatan Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 they should totally make pazaak boards and pazaak cards with little magnetic chips or something in them so that when you lay them down, the board's display would identify the card and calculate it for the game! ive seen this monster card dueling game called 'eye of judgement' for consoles that has a card scanner. you place the card under the light and i think monster or whatever will get summoned in the game!! now that is awesome
Leu-Mas-Drof Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I made my own deck by taking the jack through king out of a regular deck if cards. I then +, -, and +/- on the ace through ten. Ace through ten of hearts +. Ace through ten of diamonds -. Ace through ten of clubs and spades +/-. And I use an unmarked deck for the dealer, with the jack through king removed of course. I actually made four decks.
JRmandalorian Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Did anyone get a deck which can be displayed here? There is a way to get pazaak cards. You need to get them custom made. It's easy for me now because the website I used saved my orders and now I can order a pazaak deck any time I want.
DanElectro Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I used the link cybergrunt posted, and found some awesome stylized versions of Pazaak cards. The user made sheets of the different cards which I used photoshop to cut into individual cards. (also resized them to conform to standard playing card size) Then I used someones suggestion about artscow.com, and had 3 decks printed. Took forever to get here (from hong kong) but did they ever turn out amazing (cost $27.50 ish CA all together with shipping). My next step was to make a playing board that had all the nessessary stuff on it, which is now done, and totally awsome looking. Haven't printed it yet, but I will post pics of everything together once I do. I am going to print it on 50pt card paper and have it laminated, which again, will be awesome. If a few ppl want it, I will find a place to post the individual cards, and my pazaak board for ppl to use and print their own. Pazaak rules!

I know this is a huge bump but did you go through with this? I'm very interested in knowing because I just ordered 2 decks from artscow using the cards someone posted earlier. Got them for 19.98 USD using a free shipping coupon. Will post picture of the outcome when they arrive.
JediExile Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Thanks for bumping the thread. I've been wanting to make my own! I don't think anyone would play would me, but it's the whole novelty thing. I can't wait to see your pics!

TheRussianDong Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Got the cards today in the mail. Like I said I ordered two decks.. First turned out fine, but the second one had two cards with a thin white line running down the left side of the front. Not a big problem but kind of distracting. I have already played a friend after teaching (WHICH THERE SHOULD BE A RULE BOOK FOR THIS BECAUSE IT SOUNDS SIMPLE TO EXPLAIN BUT ITS NOT TO SOME PEOPLE) them what to do. We enjoyed it and I definitely recommend getting some especially if you cosplay with Star Wars and are bored one day with a Star Wars nerd friend. apologies for image size Pic Receipt
ChAiNz.2da Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 That's pretty frickin' sweet.. even if I'm horrible at the game, hehe Thanks for uploading the pic
