tk102
4 polls in two days is a little much man. For best results, shoot for 1/week or less.
Titanius Anglesmith
Might want to cool it down on the polls for a while. And I hate all reality shows. Maybe if they really were "reality", they'd be tolerable, but they're clearly staged.

Emperor Devon
Heh. Normal TV is a waste of your life as it is, let alone reality TV. It's like they took what few, minuscule, even remotely appealing aspects it normally had and threw them all out the window, leaving behind only mindless, thought-destroying, entropic shows that destroy your life in clean half-hour chunks several times a week. Read a book! Go outside! Do something that will give your life meaning! Summary: It's not my cup of tea. I've gotta say that's not the case with Jediphile's link, though. mimartin
Sith Apprentice :thmbup1: Excellent. As to reality shows, I don't care for any of those and consider them a waste of airtime. Are Reality Shows actually exported outside the U.S.? If so, I hope the world will accept my apology for this inexcusable act.
JoeDoe 2.0
As expressed by some forumites, I too hate reality shows.
Alexander the Great
I hate reality shows too. AM I COOL NOW?! Seriously, what is the point of some of these shows? "Big Brother?" It's like stuffing clowns in a miniature car, but it's not nearly as funny. The only one that's decent out of those is "Top Chef."
Rabish Bini
I can't stand reality shows, they're just so boring...
Rev7
The thing with reality television shows is they are 1) Boring 2) Anyone who watches them normally think that they are really cheesy. * Or at least I do* Me I would rather watch the History channel or read a book and actually learn something. Mace MacLeod
Does American Chopper count? I like the builder shows like that one or Biker Build-Off, and my wife sometimes watches the home decorating shows, but other than that I despise reality shows a la Big Brother. Rock Star Supernova was one of the most depressing "You know you've hit middle age" moments I've had in years.

Sabretooth
Reality Show? I like punching nervous *******s in college and then throwing them in the lake. Now that's entertainment.

Rev7
Those type of reality TV shows have WAY to MUCH drama in them.
SykoRevan
Sorry, but I have to go on a mini-rant here. I can't help it, I'm bored. I think reality shows are not only overly dramatic, but are dehumanizing for the people in the show, and to some extent the people who really enjoy watching those kinds of shows, like my parents. One example I can point out easily is Kid Nation, where they throw a bunch of kids into some empty place and say "make a government and economy." This show, if it was anything before, has degenerated into an hour of kids crying and adults at home laughing at the kids for not being able to do things that some adults can't even do. Like I'm gonna sit in front of my TV, watch some poor kid who probably was tricked into going on that show by their parents, see them break down in tears, and then laugh on my couch, because a 10 year-old would rather be happy playing with his friends than being on some show so people can be entertained by him being miserable? Forget that, I'd rather watch the Food Network. Of course, I always add my own instruction to every recipe, no matter what it is: Add BBQ Sauce. Add alot of it. Edit: Even to Ice Cream or Cake? -RH
