Sith Holocron Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I've just had a MAJOR break (thanks to my new hero, VarsityPuppet's tutorial) and I've been able to add mask and goggle hooks, as well as make that neck thinner. Congratulations on your breakthrough!
Snard Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Very nice, I was talking to VarsityPuppet about making a female Devaronian. I think at least one or two of you guys could pull it off, as im not very experienced in modelling quite yet. What do you think of the idea?
redrob41 Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Can you give me the tga's and model files of the togruta? i remodel kreia with her, and turn kreia into a togruta. please give them me!!!!! Welcome to Lucas Forums. Sorry, but I won't be releasing any individual mods until the demo is out. I think its better to experience all the newness in RoR first WTF? Very nice, I was talking to VarsityPuppet about making a female Devaronian. I think at least one or two of you guys could pull it off, as im not very experienced in modelling quite yet. What do you think of the idea? I've already made some skins for female Devaronians, but one of the models I used was having some lighting issues. Now that we can add geometry, I'll add some sculpted horns, rather than just paint them on the textures. They won't be ready for the demo, but they should be ready for the next release after that. The hardest part was making their bodies furry for the underwear skins (plus I'll have to do it all over again for the dancer outfits - sigh). Edit: here's an earlier post with screenshots of two of the three (the third one isn't shown because it has the problems): http://www.lucasforums.com/showpost.php?p=2757007&postcount=1139
Canderis Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 WTF? Its from a song. He did something in his pants.

Snard Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 He already said no... Canderis, he might only speak in the n00b language. Come on, cut him some slack.
Qui-Don Jorn Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 **(screeching brakes sound)** EEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! Oh NO. Oh My GOD. My computer bit the big one. Im hoping to GOD its only my power supply burned out because of the fan. I should have gotten to it much sooner I know. as soon as Im done crying and freaking out...I'll get back to yall. as far as the hilts go, the texture on that first one's grips wont stand out too much unless you are really looking close at it..but I haven't even seen them in-game,...so

Snard Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 The twilek with the breather is great! made me wonder if we can do plo koon yet You mean a Kel-Dor? Yeah that would look pretty awesome. It would take some serious modelling though.

Devaronian females don't have horns, but if you shaved off their fur, you'd find dark spots where their male counterparts have horns. (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Devaronian)
Rinku Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 O_o Can't wait! I'll have to put Kotor 2 on my laptop so I can play this during my free time at college
darthtyren Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 4 days before I start school! I can finish it!

Slstoev Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 RedRob do you plan on releasing the heads as an individual mod after the demo or Act1/2?
redrob41 Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Uh, RedRob? Devaronian females don't have horns, but if you shaved off their fur, you'd find dark spots where their male counterparts have horns. (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Devaronian) I guess I could have been more specific. I know that they don't have full horns, but those "dark spots" are the vestigial nubs where horns would be, if they were male. Since they've only been depicted in 2d formats, artists have simply drawn spots. You can see in my screen shots where I've drawn the spots on their foreheads. I'd model just a touch of a bump, so that they'd look a little more 3d.
