TiE23 Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Yeah... sucks man... I'll be listening to his material this week, that's all I can think of to do with this...
Darth Groovy Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Carlin was pretty much my all time favorite comedian. This is going to be a long day for me...
Pie™ Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Yeah, this pretty much ruined my day. ****. ****. Piss. ****. Cocksucker. Mother****er. Tits.
Kain Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Well, this is what I want hanging over my head at work...damn it.
IG-64 Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Never heard of him. :| Then why are you here? George Carlin was one of the only really dirty comics (one could say he was the first) that even my parents admitted was funny. That's an accomplishment. R.I.P.
EnderWiggin Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 I just heard about this when I woke up this morning. Rest in Peace, George _EW_
Ratmjedi Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 My friend txted me about this while I was at work. Even though I didnt know him it sucks to see such a person like him leave especially when I think he still had some more years ahead of him. He always made me laugh and was one of my favourite comics of all time. I'll watch Bill and Ted and Jay and Silent Bob in his honor this week. "Heart disease has changed my eating habits, but I still cook bacon for the smell." I think someone was still sneaking in some bacon in the middle of the night. RIP George
Pie™ Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 "Heart disease has changed my eating habits, but I still cook bacon for the smell." I think someone was still sneaking in some bacon in the middle of the night. Can you blame him? Death by bacon sounds pretty damn delicious.
RoxStar Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 I first encountered George Carlin when he was the narrator of Thomas the Tank Engine I used to watch as a wee lad. Then I met him again in Dogma. Finally I heard his stand up. RIP George
M@RS Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 That's a bummer, I feel bad for his family and friends, I now what it's like to lose someone you love dearly, or someone you were friends with RIP George
