JediMaster12
Well I know that time has come and gone for those on year round and traditional school years. Here in good ole So. Cal at my uni here in San Berdu we just started a brand new quarter. Ten weeks of instruction and then a final to prove you know your stuff This year I start my masters program in Communication Studies. Yeap I am learning about communication both verbal and nonverbal. Heck I already have to start worrying about my thesis/project/comp exam. I can say this though I have A LOT of reading to do these next two years. Hey it's a thing I can do well and I think I got this cat in the bag. For all those in school good luck and I hope you have a good year. DeadYorick
Ive been in school for about a month as well. I am surprised people are still talking about going back to school
Inyri
People are still talking about going back to school because people are still going back to school. Just because you've been back for a month doesn't mean everyone has. When I was at my first college our start date was September 20, so I'm not surprised that other institutions have similar (or even later) starting dates. Jeff
My college had the earliest start date out of any of my friends' schools, August 25. Had to move in the week before. So I've been back for over a month now.

Inyri
It was a community college, so I would tend to agree.

So I've been back for over a month now. August 25th for me as well, although a bunch of West coast college don't start until around this time, Oregon and OSU come to mind, just 'cause I have friends there. Although for me, by May 4th next year, I will be done with my degree, but not done with learning, in my chosen career you're either always learning or you're dead, somewhat literally... Though all my friends got out around this time too so I think I was just screwed with starting early.
JediMaster12
I've already accidentally joined a course. How do you accidentally join a course? Oh it must be that they discovered our grammar troll here and they decided to recruit him for the class without his knowing
Hallucination
How do you accidentally join a course? I'm just that good. And by that I mean I had a free period on the first day so I followed my friend to his animation course and just sat there taking all the forms from the teacher and contributing to the discussion, so when he took attendance and asked if he got everyone I raised my hand and said "I'm not in this class, I'm just harassing my friend." I just stuck around and did all the work in the class, I'm going to talk to the counselors soon and get officially placed in there.
