CommanderQ
I thought that, too. But apparently the other scientists didn't pay much attention to the tests and actual bombings, I don't know how they could keep it theoretical after the bombings of WW2. But apparently the other scientists didn't pay much attention to the tests and actual bombings, I don't know how they could keep it theoretical after the bombings of WW2. Considering that these atomic blasts vaporized things, it'd be kind of hard to quantify it with any accuracy from the likewise vaporized instruments..... CommanderQ
True, true. I proabaly should've thought about that. Not much stuff survives a nuclear blast, therefore making it much more difficult to study such a thing. That might explain this recent revelation of Emc^2. CommanderQ
Yeah, I always wondered whether that was myth or truth. It sounds slightly funny if you think about it.

Ctrl Alt Del
A cockroach can survive a nuclear blast. Actually, not the blast, no. Only the radioactive radius of it.

CommanderQ
It figures that one of the most hated insects can survive radiation...why??????? I'll just have to step on them now, so much for my nukes.... Albert Einstein definately knew what he was doing, though, with this formula. You know, a study of his brain found that one of his brain lobes was larger then average.

Lynk Former
A cockroach can survive a nuclear blast. Cockroaches can also get high on bugspray and even chemicals that are used to try to kill them once they've developed an immunity.

True_Avery
Not everything on that show is 100% accurate I would hope not. If it was, then they would be given a laboratory, not a basic cable television show. I'd like to think they do a decent job with their work, however. While all their tests are small scale, they seem to get good results for most of them. And when they don't they are honest enough to admit they screwed up. They certainly do a better job than Smash Lab. I'm no engineering expert, but...

True, I enjoy watching the show, it's fair good, but I liked Brainiac too, not because of the scienc-y cr*p, but because of the fact they blow up everything, and they have a pool table with each hole rigged too explosives on a caravan, and everytime they sink a ball, a caravan blows up, funny stuff.
