Endorenna Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I personally don't like the first Terminator or the second one, but the third one was okay. I have high hopes for this one.
LordOfTheFish Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Looks great. I'm not that big of a Terminator fan but this may get me interested.
Yar-El Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Watch this movie will surprise everyone. I don't have high hopes or high expectations for this movie. Terminator III was an oky movie. Lets see where this one goes.

There is no god. Aside from that, I heard a rumor somewhere(no idea if it's true) that Jonathan Nolan(Writer of The Dark Knight) did some rewrites which raises my hopes for the film.
Rev7 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I am probably just the loner on this one because the trailer didn't really excite me. I am not too big on the Terminator series though. As I said, probably just me...:/

It's really disappointing to someone like me who thinks that he showed so much promise in Empire of the Sun. What the hell happened? He still isn't half as bad as Keanu Reeves, though. No one is.
Endorenna Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Ugh, definitely. Keanu Reeves is terrible.
jawathehutt Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I like large explosions and gunfights, therefore I like the terminator movies, this movie better not disappoint.
Lynk Former Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Wait, wait, wait... everyone.... shut up. Since when did any of us watch a Terminator movies for the acting? Shut up and enjoy the explosions and shooting dammit.

I wouldn't be suprised if this is about Conner assembling his ragtag team to fight the machines. Perhaps the T's are hunting his ass, though since they havent develloped the infiltrator Termis(those are from a further future you know ), its the big machines that go after him.

John's voiceover says the future was not the one his mother described. I think the new franchise owners threw out everything of the past. All we have seen about the future upto now is gone. The future you saw in Terminator and Judgement Day will not happen. It will look very different. I watched the trailer again, and I - Reveal hidden contents think John will be killed off in this movie. It looks like there are plans to replace him with a Terminator. The scene where he is carrying someone, and Kate yells out his name. {My guess only.}

All the time they were putting up a fight to stop, while it was that direction that was needed to make the future happen The machines and John can't excist without each other, thats the great stuff about Terminator
Titanius Anglesmith Posted December 16, 2008 Author Posted December 16, 2008 I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think what they might be going on for why this future is different is that, in delaying judgment day at the end of T2 from when it was supposed to happen to when it finally did happen at the end of T3, they allowed technology to advance far enough to where it's become almost impossible to win the war.
Quanon Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 True, though in the end of T3 they did arrive in their bunker, where they should've ended. Anyway, lets hope that all the new machines in this movie aren't all over the top behemoths. Some rumours on the net say there are shots of the first T808 with rubberskins

Titanius Anglesmith Posted March 14, 2009 Author Posted March 14, 2009 I just caught this, even though it's apparently been out for almost a couple of weeks. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better than the second trailer, they go and pull this. http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/terminatorsalvation/ Nine Inch Nails song makes me happy.
Quanon Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 This site has lots of fun news items, about stills, toys, etc... about the upcoming film. TERMINATORFILES This one is fun aswell, SkynetResearch: LINKY
HK-42 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Well it is out now anyone seen it yet? Here is a pic to celebrate:
Totenkopf Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I'm thinking I'll wait another week or two for the crowds to thin out a bit.
Titanius Anglesmith Posted May 21, 2009 Author Posted May 21, 2009 I saw it at the midnight screening last night, and I enjoyed it. Bale and Yelchin were very good. Worthington was great. The action was amazing, but I didn't care much for McG's editing. Overall, it doesn't hold a candle to the original two, but it's a hundred times better than T3. I don't know why it's getting so much crap from critics. Oh, and Reveal hidden contents the Arnie cameo was absolutely badass.
