Dak Drexl
I just plain don't like these. Mainly because comic-style looks out of place in a 3d world. I totally see where people could hate these, but I think its a cool thing just to use for fun. I'd say change the gray floor texture blue, to be more in line with the rest of the room. What do you mean "more in line with the rest of the room"? Nothing in the room is blue. I'll be interested to see if you improve on this, but I probably won't download. Too devoted to Drewton's. Heh. Drewton's is damn good as well. I think I like aspects from both of these projects, like Drewton's characters. His Sion is what I remember most from his project - it's amazing. Xarwarz
I installed the first one you did a while ago and I liked it but some skins looked so detailed it was like I couldn't see! This - IS - STUNNING!!! I have to hand it to you, you are very talented at your Visual Enhancements. Only thing you need to do now is work out a way for us to finish downloading before your next one comes out Thank you i have gotten better over the years and have peaked at my skills with this mod. I look at telos and said man this look like crap so i cleaned it up you wont believe how much better it looks. Ummm... how do you even do this? It's flat out amazing! PLEASE keep up the good work! You're making a lot of this stuff next-gen good. Also, I like the comic style characters as well, I'd download that for a playthrough Thanks my idea this time was to make it look more update into the 2009-2010 era thats what inspired the new glowing panels. Pictures dont do justice. Some people like the comic style some don't eh can't please everbody
Xarwarz
Triggergod everyone is entitled to there opinion but you seem to have some issue with me or my work and id like to know what it is. You came and left negative comments on my jedi knight post also. Im here to make mods not get in a ego battle for whose better. I never downplay anyones mod before it comes out you have to try it before you cry it. Everyones mod deserves a fair chance My main problem with this particular door texture is that it looks like all you did was colorize it yellow a little, then apply the plastic wrap filter. In some areas, it looks... all right (such as in that middle circle thing), but in most of it, it doesn't look that good. Its a door you open and forget it It just looks like you took your graphic and blew it up. If you want your graphic to be that high-res, you should re-create it at the size you want. it is blown up to show you how it looks it aint that big in da game I just plain don't like these. Mainly because comic-style looks out of place in a 3d world. Just 4 fun thats it like or hate it This is, so far, the only texture I have no problems with. This is meant to be a junk speeder sitting on Nar Shaddaa. It looks much too clean. Dirt marks, blaster scorches, anything else. It just looks.. too clean. the plc file are crap very poorly drawn so don't expect any thing amazing I'd say change the gray floor texture blue, to be more in line with the rest of the room. The floor is blue In the first pic, everything looks all right... but then you turn around and you see... I can't really describe it. First off, the tanks look like their being lighted by ultraviolet rays, and I'm certain that these people aren't in tanks to get a tan. Second, the whatchamacallit that holds the tanks has colors that are wayyy too flat. Right now, I'm sure the texture looks almost completely red and black. For improvement, I'd say change the whatchamacallits red areas to something similar to the wall next to it or the floor its attached to, give the tubes on the side of it a real tube texture, and the black would be fine in that texture. he explained what he used a while back. From what I've discerned, he mainly took the stock textures that these programs had, tweaked them a bit, than slapped them on. Lets make one thing clear i created 200 textures for this game alone over the past 3 months so these are my textures in this game not stock. Except for any obsidian textures i left in the game I'll be interested to see if you improve on this, but I probably won't download. Too devoted to Drewton's. I hope drewton does finish his im glade some one else is doing one besides me. But for you to say you won't download it then why are you giving me advice. Don't try to turn other people away from this mod because you have issues with what ever

Quanon
Lets make one thing clear i created 200 textures for this game alone over the past 3 months so these are my textures in this game not stock. Except for any obsidian textures i left in the game Trigger was talking about the programs you use to create your textures. Not the game. Look its great and impressive to start such a great undertaking. And its neat people can at least choose to download texture sets. Hell, I even used some of your texture packs. But to be honest, I only kept, like perhaps 10% of them. Since you released this sort of mod twice, I think, its fair people at least giving some critique. Ofcourse theres the more polite way of doing it and just bashing and yelling: THIS SUCKS! So, eh, my point; I think you can improve a lot on certain things. Its not that the texture is bad persé, but you don't seem to care where a specific texture gets used in the areas. You can't look it all up, where goes what. But the game devs often used very plain simple textures on certain spots, the mapping on the 3D on those spots is often ruff and quickly done. So when you then put on a detailed texture, things don't line up nicely. Like I can see from that screenshot on the floor and door frame from Peragus. You put up a texture with neat details, but the texture it self doesn't fit that nicely on that spot. Not directly your mistake, cause you can't change that, but its something that bugs me. And throws me out of a game experience often. I just have a more carefull look, on what goes where on how it fits. Well enough of my ranting. Continue on, because not everyone is like me and a lot peeps enjoy your stuff!

I have no issue with constructive input but it the way that it was written seems very messed up i can tell mod bashing Trigger was talking about the programs you use to create your textures. Not the game. Look its great and impressive to start such a great undertaking. Yes i used gentica 3.0 to create the textures, but i did not take stock textures from the program itself. Most of them are crappy anyway but you can tell he didn't try the program or he would have seen that none of the textures in my mod where from that program And its neat people can at least choose to download texture sets. Hell, I even used some of your texture packs. But to be honest, I only kept, like perhaps 10% of them. Back then i was trying to use what ever texture to make it look different this time i cleaned it up looks 10x better now guaranteed You can't look it all up, where goes what. Quanon
Yea some areas are impossible because of shared textures or rushed areas but i can only do what i can but thanks for at least giving the mod a chance. Well, I sort of get the idea what your pulling off. Did a Taris retexture once. And it took a good amount of time to get how I wanted it to be. I often had to do away with a texture because it got used in the weirdest places and often, it looked just to odd or sliced up. Like I said before, that bugs me a lot, personally Mind that even the game itself isn't free from that sort of thing. So perhaps I should learn to live with that. Anyway, I know you've improved the conherency and look of your textures. You're first attempts where a bit kit-bashed together. Edit: Just my 2cents, I've no idea if this is actually true or not, so put me to shame and say its not I'dd say, take a good look at the game areas in originale state, how they are, how they use a colour scheme and all, what sort of texture they've applied. Plain, detailed etc... . Then when you want to do your own, pick only a very few main colours for your textures in that area. And pick a few, detail colours. To make things pop out. That'll really enchance the look But, boy, am I blabbering on today, ignore these long posts x-D

Elite Duck
I've noticed that sometimes the textures don't fit together. I've put a red circle at my example. I don't know if you've already fixed this. But it would look bad if you could see it everywhere. It looks like the texture in the middle was just moved up, the horizontal lines don't meet. Still, amazing work! Cant wait to spend hours looking at Light Blue Holo Terminals!!!

Darth Crados
Well I had downloaded the previous version of this... it was very good, but this one has the potential to become even better, very nice indeed Xarwarz. The plc files picture... it's plain AMAZING! A sugestion though: on your previous mod, there was a thing on peragus that bugged me: on the hangar (where you escape on the ebon hawk) if you look outside you see huge asteriods... in plain order. That isn't realistic. I mean, they're drifting asteriods, not a fleet of sith fighters, right? That was about all that was wrong with the other version... hope you can fix that and make it better. Good luck

Xarwarz
Huh, the door in the Nar Shaddaa pic looks kinda blurry to me. In game its not blurry at all quite clear in fact its just a lighted door to give it realism i didn't want to make the whole door bright so the dark and light contrasts off each other Everything looks a little plastic-y. Try overlaying a brushed metal texture, may look nice. I'll give that a thought but it would be an alternate texture for those who prefer a ruff look And I would say add some dirt, cracks and oil stains to Nar Shadaa. Its suposed to be quite slummy. This is a proposed problem as this game shares alot of textures between levels Actually it looks fine if you are going to make the game more like an animated /CGI game. Then the skins would match well Yes this is my focus for this mod a new Smoother type look
