adamqd Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I know the Expanded Universe is not everyones Cup of Meat, but I am a massive EU follower, and enjoy all aspects of the franchise, including the Films and to an extent, the Clone wars, a few of the Guys at the the Dark Horse Star Wars Forum, have put together a facebook page and a very polite Petition together as a Kind of Thank you to George Lucus for Star Wars, but can we strive to avoid inconsistency and Ret-con. Please have a browse through this petition and let me know your thoughts on the matter, also, please read it as a Polite request, the guys at Dark Horse boards and myself are Calm and collected in discussing this, there is no anger involved hehe (a Lot of the non EU fan response to this has bordered on abuse lol) http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/starwars2000/ http://www.facebook.com/Petition2000
Alkonium Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I figured they'll just ignore it, but I signed it anyway.

Samnmax221 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Actually I thought it was pretty hilarious when Karen Traviss ragequit Star Wars because TCW invalidated her stupid little stories.

Astor Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 I signed it, but the number of 'bring back Karen Traviss' comments seriously worries me.
JesusIsGonnaOwnSatan Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Signed it. I also had a quick look at the continuity errors presented in this new Clone Wars campaign (i've never paid it much attention).. Resurrected characters? Timeline shifts? ... Mandalorians as pacifists?? Far, i had no idea just how much of a piss they were taking on the established canon...
Sabretooth Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 So... nobody actually foresaw how they're going to piss all over the canon back when they introduced Ahsoka?
Darth Avlectus Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 No. They just wanted a jailbait character tossed in, apparently. Nobody ever cares how making a new character 'teh awesumz' will screw everything up. Mandalorians as pacifists. What a joke.
