K_Kinnison
"I am altering the game, pray I do not alter it further" Yea, just sounds like crappy leadership. Enjoyed another Oktoberfest. had some nice music also, there was a band playing classic rock, and the guitar player was quite impressive. Quite funny to see the Lead male vocal bang his head against the symbols during "Dream Police". Also quite nice to see the Band during the sound test. Unlike some bands it wasn't deafing, but quite enjoyable except for the Bass drowning out the vocals
edlib
Dang, I knew Lucas ruined Star Wars movies for me, but I never suspected he had such a huge hand in ruining Star Wars games for me too. I didn't think he paid any attention to that. Especially depressing was this: Damn you, everyone that ruined this. Damn you to hellllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes... That would have inspired me to get a Wii U... just like Rogue Leader inspired me to get the Gamecube back-in-the-day. There is a special place in Hell reserved for those people... I mean... Canceling already completed games? What's up with that? At least put it up on the XBox Live and/or Playstation stores for download at that point. Even without any fanfare, you're gonna make something on them.
Keyan Farlander
Yes... That would have inspired me to get a Wii U... just like Rogue Leader inspired me to get the Gamecube back-in-the-day. Me too. The moment I saw footage of Rogue Leader, I knew I had to get a GameCube. To this day it's the only console I've ever bought at launch (or even the first year it was out). I mean... Canceling already completed games? What's up with that? At least put it up on the XBox Live and/or Playstation stores for download at that point. Even without any fanfare, you're gonna make something on them. I can sort of understand finishing a AAA game and then not releasing it, since marketing costs can often equal or surpass the development budget these days. But yeah, it just seems like they should have been able to do something. The article even said there were other companies interested in investing in getting 1313 out the door. I guess it was a matter of these games not fitting in with the direction of the franchise, because God forbid your franchise includes kick-ass games
Keyan Farlander
Girl I met and fell madly in love with last year in New York got engaged today. Not that I actually expected anything to come of it, but it was hard not to hope. Dammit.

Rogue15
god ****ing damnit keyan. that's cause for a celebration! shots shots shots!!!!! just got back from weekend of paintball at EMR paintfield in New Milford, PA Castle Conquest. went with 2 of my best friends, it was great...however my ****ing paintball gun was overpowered...350 fps, so i gotta go online and look how to tone it down 100 fps. said **** it all and used the free gun they had, and had a fun time anyway. the first day was insane 1st because so many people, and 2nd cause we were all ****ing hungover from the 30 pack the night before. today was more fun, smaller games, and not hungover just sore lol. great workout hope i can get more games in before the winter. i have to manage to get powerpoint and set my speech up for tomorrow ****ing morning. fml i think i'll skip and make it up another time. idk. just pisses me off i wasn't home this weekend so zero prep time for it. ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i work great under stress....i hate talking in front of a group of kids...and the professor wants me to wear my army uniform to class when i give the speech. challenge accepted i guess. finished my powerpoint presentation setup...hopefully there aren't technical difficulties tomorrow!!! and hopefully i get an A+. now...gonna put stuff away watch an episode of spartacus and go to sleep. Keyan Farlander
Yeah, this was the most awkward possible time for this engagement. Right after we talked about visiting! I heard from her last night and she still thinks this visit is happening. But I don't know if I want to see her now. Another friend of ours will be there, who I would like to see, and I don't want to offend her by telling her I don't actually want to get together with her now. DAMMIT. I was pretty surprised by this, too - I think her boyfriend still has a couple of years of grad school to go, and he's doing that overseas. We have now reached Three's Company-level awkward. Rogue15
keyan: do it. engagements aren't legal contracts. look at me, i was engaged once! and she dumped me out of self righteousness! going to bible study again tonight...i feel like an alien when i go there, but it's something to do that is free and increases my chance of meeting a girl outside of work, school, and bars. the girls in school are all in their early 20s, though i probably caught some of their attentions when i wore my ACUs to a few classes on monday. also i called that one girl out for ditching me and my buddy for an "emergency" lol apparently some guy that has expensive car and swag and **** needed a "ride". yeah i may have come off as mean but i hate being lied to and treated like ****. Rogue15
great time at bible study tonight...making some new friends. caught 2 females checking me out. going to study some psychology junk for my quiz/test tomorrow then watch spartacus and then go to the gym...going to pick up some fig newtons to bring with me to the other bible study tomorrow. think i fit in more with the tuesday crowd than the other one, but we'll see in a week or so if i continue to go to the one on wednesdays...just seems everyone that goes to that one is 40+, not the point of going to a bible study but i'm looking for friends that are in my generation or closer to my age. heh it's odd going back to the bible study that i was introduced to through my ex, nobody mentions her, but i'm there and i think about the times when she was there with me, and think wow life just can go on like that without someone being there. it's almost as if i never really stopped going there. weirdness. so this is my 3rd week working out and according to my chart i lost 3 pounds since last week. idk if i'll keep losing weight or what is going on with my body, i'll just continue workout out...running is a pain in the ass i ran a mile in roughly 10 minutes today, considering it was uphill i don't think it was too bad but meh i miss when i'd be able to do that in 8 minutes. gonna keep at it and when it gets rough just switch to 4 minute intervals. i love running but i hate when my ankles and shins feel like they're strained, it's stupid and pisses me off and i get mad cause i know it's my body straining itself from the weight. i eat healthy too...and don't drink every day or nearly as much as i used to and rarely drink soda. maybe it's that i'm not getting enough sleep, stress, not enough water? i just don't know! K_Kinnison
Got some sort of bug/flu. Making me cough, have a runny nose, conjestion. I was practically on deaths doorstep when I left work after only working half the day. Being prone made me feel a lot better. Went back to work today and survived. I was popping Halls every half hour to hour just to function. Got my Beta Copy for the new Star wars RPG (pen and paper type) expansion "Age of Rebellion". Needs a lot of work on the Starfighter combat.

Rogue15
purchased a Uplay account so i could play some Ghost Recon Future Soldier. this game is too addicting...i like how Ubisoft makes achievements give out rewards, so that's more incentive to go after them...love that. what is everyone's xbox live gamertag? i got edlibs

Rogue15
went to my parents to carve a pumpkin for my nephews...it turned out awesome. my oldest nephew can say a few words that make sense now, he knew what the pumkin was. also got to check out the kayak i purchased...it's missing the oars/paddles....i don't know if it was supposed to come with them. guess not, just checked the website and nope...so when i get around to taking that out gotta go buy some paddles...not sure the price on them, once my uc comes in i'll have to do some shopping around. also since hunting season starts for me in a few weeks i grabbed both of my rifles, going to get them nice and cleaned up, pretty sure they're still zero'd since i haven't fired them in quite a while. will have to go to the range with my buddy someday soon. finished watching the final season of Spartacus. cried. such a good series. stepped on the scale this morning and i'm down to 209, at least for this morning...still hoping to lose 3 pounds a week. also went running this morning, 3 minute intervals. seem to be getting easier, not as much pain, i just wish to get faster and be able to run at a steady speed for longer...really want an 8 minute/mile pace. Rogue15
well eHarmony is a bust. i emailed them asking a question and this is what i get: Thank you for contacting eHarmony Customer Care. I can certainly understand that you would wish to be matched with subscribers only when you will purchase a membership and I will be glad to provide you with some clarification. Please note that we do not have an option to send you matches who have purchased a membership only. Everyone who joins eHarmony and completes our Relationship Questionnaire successfully is first matched as a non-subscriber. We give all of our members the opportunity to experience our successful matching process and therefore, both paid and non-paid members are included in the matching pool. Once a non-subscriber is ready to take the next step and start communicating, they’re required to join the service as a paid member. Should you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our Customer Care Email Team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We look forward to helping you find your special someone. Sincerely, Sean S. Customer Care eHarmony waste of money if you ask me. oh look at ALL THESE MATCHES THAT WON'T REPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE ON A TRIAL AND ARE LIMITED IN COMMUNICATING WITH YOU!!!! yeah, piss off....i'd have better luck at a AA meeting. i think they should give an OPTION to filter out the non subscribers this way you're not wasting TIME on people that have an extremely low likelihood of responding. Keyan Farlander
Yeah, I've run into that same problem with match-making sites. Very frustrating.
K_Kinnison
Yep, that is how eHarmony works. In order to contact someone you need to be a member. Then they make you autopay with a credit/debit card. So when you year membership is over they continue billing you. I had to go to my credit card company to tell them to stop paying, since there was a small window when you could opt out of eHarmony. But, i did do it. And i got about 5 dates out of it. None of them really worked out, but it got my confidance up enough to start asking people I met. Basically, catch a bunch of fish, and maybe one in a hundred, or thousand, might be a keeper. Once you accept that you might have to have 1000 dates with 1000 different people to find the right one, if will make dating much easier
edlib
I have yet to try internet dating. I'm thinking about it. Though I'm sure I'll go with free sites first, and see how things go there first. I've had a couple of flirtatious episodes on the subway lately, nothing that could realistically ever amount to anything, but it's got me thinking about getting back in the game. Now I just need a night off. That won't be happening for... months.
K_Kinnison
Heck, just last week I was at a Bar waiting to get served and this rather nice, young brunette, next to me, looked up at me into my eyes. I looked back, smiled, and she was still looking. She then commented on the interesting color of my eyes. They are hazel, but at certain times and lighting they turn brown, or have flecks of gold in them. we got to talking for a bit and before she left (she was there to close her tab) she gave me a quick peck on my cheek. Confidence is sexy. And one of the things i found out from the ladies, with all those dating sites, is most of the guys on them are criminals or creeps. So us "Normal" people already have an advantage.
Rogue15
ill just stick with pof.com, it's free and i had 1 date off of it so far..and k_k, you're right even though that 1 date wasn't like the date to end all dates, it definitely helped with my confidence around women, so i know i can get girls just have a problem with them "getting" me. i think deep down in my heart i just want to go on another deployment and leave this trivial mess behind me. idk, just i wish i could not have stupid feelings, self-pity, worthlessness feelings, etc. even though i know i'm doing alot better than i was prior to being deployed...i just miss my ex still and that still haunts me. wish it would go away. edlib
I realized the other day that I have recently gone several 24-hour periods without thinking about my ex... or at least thinking about the bad times and/or how badly it ended and how badly I got screwed over when it did. It feels like a milestone has been passed.
