Wildstar
Merry Xmas guys! Before my Christmas really got started last night, it was already better than last year: Last Christmas, I was mostly in bed w/ the flu, and my fever broke just in time to make my little sister's get-together the day after Xmas. Today, bowling with my brother was involved...three games that had a score over my league average. EDIT: Last Christmas, though, was great for one thing...it was my first with my big sister in my life.

K_Kinnison
Had a very nice white chistmas this year. Had about 3 inches of white fluffy snow that I had to snow blow later. Got some good loot. Wife was happy with her loot. Dinner (Ham) turned out well, and we had some nice wine and a wonderful port to go with it. Watched Elysium on the Cable "On demand", it was disappointing how Jodi Foster's role was so minor. Another movie with plots of crap. last weekend my wife and I saw the new Hobbit movie. Greatly enjoyable. Smaug was done incredibly well. Tho i really wanted the "Barrel song" Instead we got drunken elves then a running fight with orcs and elves with infinite arrows

Wildstar
Could we possibly reach 1,500 posts to this thread in the next five days? I've made a pre-New Year's resolution to cook more for myself (hard living alone to cook for just myself, as recipes for stuff tend to serve more than one), and I took a step toward that during my Christmas shopping and bought myself a crock pot. Needing more than that, though, I dropped a hint with my big sister, and I received her gift today: a set of knives and kitchen tools.
edlib
5 days, eh? I think we can do that. I've been taking it easy. Watching TV. Reading. Playing guitar. Playing games. Drawing. Napping. Not the most productive or exciting life... but I suspect I'll appreciate the downtime when work gets crazy again.

K_Kinnison
Well, one downside to living in La Crosse, wi is family has a hard time traveling to visit for the holidays. First my brother is working two jobs, and his wife and my niece, instead of staying over friday night and leaving in the morning, decide to stay in Madison and see the new Hobbit movie. My Dad is visiting up from Florida, and now has a broken phone and an old car that is acting funny. Complaining about all the bills and cannot afford to visit. I miss the days, when I would go visit my Dads parents for the holidays and have a good crowd of 15 people, even if i had to sit at the kids table
Rogue15
apparently i can eat a whole pizza and a whole order of wings...not sure WHAT i was drinking last night after i left my place...had a good time i guess? lol. and last night i ended up at a bar i was practically thrown out of (according to my friend who texted me what shenanigans i pulled shortly after i got there). was wondering why everyone was giving me awkward looks. whatever. i hate the majority of northeast pennsylvania. there are no decent girls up here. single at 29, something must be wrong with me since i am unable to get a decent girlfriend. guess i'll spend all of next year at the gym instead of at the bar. i need to bring my bfp from 24% to like 12%. heh... lifestyle change here we go..... Rogue15
there's actually 2 religious movies coming out next year i'm looking forward to seeing...the 'son of god' and 'noah' they look pretty good. watched secret life of walter mitty last night...it was funny, but not as funny as i hoped. gonna see anchorman 2 sometime next week. going to go get my car washed today, and i'm also going to pick up an electric razor.. no sight of a relationship anytime in my near future. oh well. my dog keeps me busy..lol
edlib
Spent the day hanging out in Boston and Cambridge catching up with friends. Ate a lot. Shot some pool... God, I suck at that. Spent too much money going out today... but I guess that makes up for my self-imposed hermitage the rest of the break from work. Well... at least now I can truthfully say that I have seen every episode of modern-era Doctor Who.

edlib
Might finally venture out today to somewhere near a shopping center... something I haven't done (refused to do, actually...) since before Black Friday. There's a couple of things I need, but have been putting it off for over a month now to avoid the holiday shopping feeding frenzy insanity. K_Kinnison
Looking to get an exercise bike for the next year. Really out of shape and want to increase my cardio. my current job just does not let me have opportunities to enjoy the outdoors like i used to (Biking, hiking sailing). Watched the Packers-Bears game. I was literally on the edge of my seat for the final quarter. My cat kept wanting to cuddle but i was scaring him with all the yelling i was doing. Next week Mythbusters star wars special. Also next week, is the premier and first showing of an new Anime on Adult Swim"Space Dandy"
Cmdr. Cracken
Christmas was nice this year. Mom and Dad got us a 40" LED Smart TV and a nice piece of furniture to put it on. Her Mom (UGHHHH) got us a chromecast and a rice cooker (and the smallest, cheapest one she could get.) as well as a severe migraine. Her Dad and step-mom we haven't gotten to see yet since they live 1 1/2 hours away. We are trying to get down there... :/
