star wars is fun, but if you play too much star wars, it starts to eat up too much of your time. i tried this little experiment, and it helped me get back into 'the real world' i realised i wasn't wanting to play any non-star wars game for a few months, then i wondered what would happen if i started playing some of my turok games, so i started playing turok 1, and beat it, then turok 2, and beat it. now that i'm done beating all my turok games, i've gotten out Deadlock II: Shrine Wars and have been playing that, it's a turn-based strategy game, but it requires more strategy than real-time strategy games. i am only on level 2 as the maug H-maug.JPG it's basically a colony war type game. you land on a planet, must capture so many shrines and hold them all for 5 turns. there's 7 alien races, i always use the maug as they're the coolest looking race in the entire game. there's alot of options in it, you can deal with the black market, sometimes that causes a scandal and you lose some of your work force, so you gotta build something to make them happy workers again, , and you try to control alot of territories and build buildings on them to give you resources, which help you build stuff, and you can tax the citizens too. there's some heavy duty units that can wipe out the enemy or if the enemy builds them they can wipe out a colony. i was attacked a while ago by a amphibious unit, 7 of them completely wiped all my military units out, and then wiped the colonists out, the colonists have laser pistols to fight with, but against technologically advanced units, they're getting slaughtered. which is what happened to me. another good feature is the chatbox, you can send insults/threats/brags/complaints/praise to your enemy, if you send them alot of praise messeges, they start to like you and you can form some pacts with them. you can also sell and buy resources with them.

well i think this is as far off topic that you can go. umm i'm hungry so i'm going to get lunch.

  • 2 years later...

16:eek: I always thought you were older!?

Anyhow, you're right. It does extend the age gap. Although I didn't like 2 as much as 1, while my dad liked it more. But still, even my 2 yr old brother likes star wars as much as many. It's insane.

Yes. I am 16.

That makes me more than old enough to be your daddy! :eek:

Not that I'm laying claim to that distinction, or anything! At least not to the best of my knowledge... (hey! It was a long time ago!) ;)

God... That's,.. wow.

Well,.. thanks for making me feel really old Matt... :(

wait..wait...wait...I'm older than you? *stares* someone said you were 30 dude...LMAO.

More proof that with certain people, age really does mean nothing. ;)

Considering the 16 year olds I know, I'd have figured matt for at least twenty...shows how much I know. ^^;;

TK: Sorry to disappoint you, but he's 16, not 14, making him as old as you. ;)
