Uutont Fær Uulion Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 I am sorry but I just had to ask. Who's sig do we think looks the best? Is the funniest? Etc?
raVen_image Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 If a signature is supposed to identify the style, humor, and identity of a poster ....and considering that EVERYONE here seems to use and abuse this feature ...then my lack of a signiture is a signature in itself. My "signature" is found in my mode of speech, not some clever quote or annoying graphic. It may not seem cool, but it IS different.
Trapezoid Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 I like my signature. Although on the old board I had a cool random quote file.
Haggis Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 Originally posted by raVen_image My "signature" is found in my mode of speech, not some clever quote or annoying graphic. Do you think my cat is annoying?

Haggis Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 Yes, it's my Siamese cat. What did you think it was?
dark spirit Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 well the pic on the right kinda looks like a chinchilla!
Haggis Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 His official name (you know, the one in his family tree) is Alexander van Salody, but we prefer to call him Lex.
raVen_image Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 Well, Haggis, it's best to say that your signature is "normal" I love cats (and dogs, too), but I have a problem with graphics that repeat and repeat themselves. In other words, I would prefer to see a single signature only once per thread. When the same person posts multiple times to a single thread, then you see the same picture multiple times. That's OK folks...I have signatures and avatars turned off in my options, so if you have nothing important to say...I am not fooled by your pictures filling space. I'm looking specifically at ED when I say this: Isn't one oversized graphic enough? Why two? have you nothing REAL to say?
Snootch Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 scabb: you're avatar is...different. And cool Who is the guy?
Metallus Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 Originally posted by raVen_image I'm looking specifically at ED when I say this: Isn't one oversized graphic enough? Why two? have you nothing REAL to say? It'd be easy to shrink the signature down with one of those random image scripts. I think there are people with much worse signatures than ED though. I'd recommend a script like that to anyone who puts more than one image in their signature.
Thrik Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 I think mine's not too imposing, and it shows that I really am a monkey holding a Thomson =P:p
Jake Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 My signature is dorky and my avatar is nonexistant at the moment.
Schmatz Posted December 21, 2001 Posted December 21, 2001 AGH! MY EYE!!! I think mine is not bad... it just fits the page width-wise, and its only like 150 pixels tall... and it only has my name so... I didn't think it was such a big problem... doth thou liketh it?
Meksilon Posted December 21, 2001 Posted December 21, 2001 I like my avatar, it looks kinda like me (compare it to MY REAL PICS) and my sig is short, to the point and functional. =mek=
raVen_image Posted December 21, 2001 Posted December 21, 2001 Originally posted by Bobbin No one can compete with my avatar. Here is a link to an older avatar of mine...I think this beats yours. Chuzwuzza Posted December 21, 2001 Posted December 21, 2001 bah, I would prefer to not have a signature at all, but I feel i needed to make a statement about avatars, and the sig was the only place I could do it...
