mxbx Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 Well, when? I'm tired of that "Nibbles"/Tron/Snake game.
elTee Posted July 6, 2002 Posted July 6, 2002 Yeah, that would be cool wouldn't it. I reckon it will definately happen sooner or later (later), because phones are getting so advanced these days. It'll be another feature for the Nokia... I dunno, 9740 or something: "Uplink PC games to our latest handset with this FREE cable. Games not included."
ConnyFox Posted July 6, 2002 Posted July 6, 2002 I´d really like to se Pipe Dream re-released for the new ericsson phones Thing that would be a great idea using the little "joystick" those new phones have! A pic for those who dont understand what i mean http://www.sonyericsson.com/se/images/GPD_2936_26_0_811.jpg
elTee Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 Ok, using that image as a basis: -The joystick is the mouse, of course -The '2' is the equivilent 'left-click' of the mouse -The two buttons on either side of the joystick bring up the Verb coin. Et voila! Monkey Island 3 on your mobile. Now all it needs is... well, extra memory, better sound, and a much higher resolution. Oh, and permission from Lucas Legal. Oh well, one can dream.
Jake Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 One could easily strip Monkey 1 and 2, DOTT, etc down to the "verb coin" CMI/FT interface (if Monkey 1 can be stripped from 15 verbs to 9, it can certainly be reduced to 3 or 4), they'd be perfect for porting to GBAs or really anything with a small screen.
Huz Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 Wandering off-topic here, but speaking of stripping down the interface: what were the uses for the "Turn on" and "Turn off" options on the SoMI interface?
Scummbuddy Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 yea, thats the scene where you actually got to see into the room with the tremendous yak with the wax lips and that scary clown. Stupid gophers.

mxbx Posted August 23, 2005 Author Posted August 23, 2005 Thanks! I've been waiting three years for your response!
mxbx Posted August 24, 2005 Author Posted August 24, 2005 I am having trouble finding a p910i add-on for my cell phone, tleaf. Please explain.
elTee Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Fear not all. When I get out of rehab I'll have LucasTones back on the ball. You won't defeat me this time, you thirst quenching devil.
HenryJonesJr. Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 WHere the hell is LucasTOnes, i want it back now, i log in once a year, 2007 maybe?
elTee Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Haha, seriously - good timing. It will be back before the end of summer, and better than ever!
elTee Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Well, it will be better in some ways: 1. It will work on phones. No PC required to use LucasTones. 2. There will be pictures of Jim Morrison around every corner. And Ray Manzarek behind the other ones.
elTee Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Yeah, why not. Standard Internet charges will still apply though.
itchythesamurai Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Huzzah, I'm willing to let old Lucasarts music replace The Beatles on my phone. Also, the Episode III cell phone game reeked.
