He's a twisted, evil, psychotic creature that hasn't been outside for about 500 years (which is the reason he's so pale, and explains the "glue"). Low on budget? You must be joking. Read the books again if you need a description of Gollum. They're right on in their depiction. I mean, hell, maybe they should not release any trailers and then they can just release the movie at random in different places all over the city. Then you'll be really surprised.
