a little bit of ep III info

Hayden Christensen has already begun a rigorous work-out regiment. As they put it, he's "beefing up" and getting into top physical shape. In a recent issue of Star Wars Insider Rick McCallum stated that "Hayden will change physically in this film." He's going to be bigger... and not just for the Vader stuff. It also means Hayden as Anakin will likely be a more imposing figure as well. Hayden starting lifting weights and working out 6 weeks ago... and he will continue to keep in shape all the way into and through the end of filming (another year or two).

Nick Gillard is already blocking "at least one" duel between Anakin/Vader and Obi-Wan. In fact, he began some work in August.

Both Hayden and Ewan McGregor will report to Fox Studios Australia as soon as late February or early March to begin working on the duel(s)...a full 3-4 months before shooting begins. (Principal Photography is still set to kick off on June 26, 2003).

i can't wait to see obi-wan vs anakin, it will be something special i think

I hope Anakin won't suck like he did in EP2 - an always-pissed object...

"Yeah, Obi, kill Ani becuase he will bring balance to the Force by killing Palpy..."

I hope EP3 will be even more cool than EP2, because the story doesn't move so much in EP2. (e.g. many people hoped Anakin would have a big turn in life like being father or turning into Vader, Yoda would already relocate to Dagobah,... but they only saw the romance between Padme, and his wish to rule the galaxy... not very too much...)

Er... why are you using so many spoilers, Sivy?

On the Obi-wan vs Anakin fight. It better be something special. SW is full of twist ("I am your father", "My sister has it" etc. etc.) but this Vader business will be the most surprising revelation yet (to those who dont know anyway) so they better give us a cool battle.

oh ya they will give us a kool battle, Lucas knows that all the fans r hoping for one and they wont settle for anything less then whats already happened. i guarantee the duel will be spectacular, lucas knows what hes doing...i have faith in him:p so well just have to wait and see how he does it, it should be interesting.

ya if you read the EU books, in the timeline it says Ep. III takes place 2 years after Ep. II. Course, Lucas might not follow that timeline and lengthen/shorten the time btwn...

And I don't think the script has been finished yet, Lucas is still writing it, but some stuff that is expected (ie. Obi vs. Anakin duel) should be definitly in the story tho.

i heard just 2 years after episode 2.....i have read that from a lot of good sources

Well, apparently they arent that good of sources seeing as how Rick McCallum and George Lucas both confirmed that Episode III takes place 3 years after Episode II. What's funny is that Rick said that the Clone Wars is being taken place in real-time, so for us, the Clone Wars is happening literally as I type this.

Actually, Episode 3 takes place 3 years after Episode 2. And Rick McCallum says that the star wars film is in real-time, which was confusing the interviewer at the moment, but then rick mccallum says. Episode 3 is being released 3 years after episode 2. The Clone Wars lasted 3 years. The Clone Wars are being fought as we speak.

Also, Ewan McGregor confirmed that he and Hayden made a pact to begin severe training nearing the time they will spend in New Zealand so that they will make their fight spectacular.

Also, Rick McCallum confirms that Boba Fett is still a child has not really begun his trip into being a bounty hunter, as he cannot fit into the armor yet. So, Boba's roll in Episode 3, according to McCallum, will be very minor.

Samuel L Jackson sat down with G.L. about how Mace will be killed off. Jackson told Lucas that Windu, being the strongest jedi in terms of fighting, shouldn't be killed like some punk. He wants to die a dramatic death, and lucas says he doesn't know how he wants to kill off Mace, but he will make it grand. So, who knows what will happen, least he won't get killed by the Fett. Nor will he be killed by Dooku, since according to fact around the Star Wars universe, it is known that mace in fact is better fighter of himself and Yoda. Yoda is just more in-tuned to the Force. So, I have a feeling that it will be a more revengeful fight of Anakin and Mace, or even Sidious showing his true power.

Those are ALL Confirmed facts for Episode 3

what to expect in Episode 3:

"- ObiWan and Anakin will fight

- The Emperor will take control of the galaxy

- Anakin will become Dartth Vader

- Yoda will end up stranded on Dagobah

- Obi Wan Kenobi will change his name to "Ben" and become a hermit on Tatooine."

Rick McCallum also notes that there will be yet ANOTHER showcase of spectacular lightsaber battles.

"...Rick McCallum expects that Episode III will again showcase spectacular lightsaber battles. "Im not only expecting it, I'm looking forward to it."

He demurs when asked how Lucas and stunt coordinator Nick Gillard could possibly top the Jedi fight scenes in Attack of the Clones, but reminds us, "Episode III is the last one, so no-holds barred now."

"James Earl Jones to Voice Darth Vader Again at ORT Toronto..."

STARLOG: What about Boba Fett?

LUCAS: “Boba WILL be in Episode III, but his role definitely won’t be larger. He’s in a transition period of becoming a bounty hunter. The next film takes place two or three years later, so Boba would only be 13 and still wouldn’t fit in the suit." WHich means that there is a 99.9% Chance that he won't kill Mace Windu... SORRY!!! But Mace Windu IS going to die, and according to my research, it will be a very spectacular death. "Samuel L. Jackson talks about his exit in EP3, "I don't think I'm going out like some, some girl. I gotta go down, you know, in a blaze of glory. It (EP3) will lead perfectly into what we know as, you know, the original."

E! Daily News interviewed Star Wars creator George Lucas and finally got an answer on the mystery surrounding what R2-D2 and C-3PO should and shouldn't remember of their adventures in the prequels. "Well, one, his brains have, his memory system has been erased and so has R2's. So, they don't remember anything from the first trilogy. I'm telling you something from Episode III, but I shouldn't be telling you that, but I think most of the fans already know that." So, C3PO and R2 both get their memory chips erased somehow.

"Nov 10, 2002; Italian newspaper reports on local cameraman shooting volcano "footage" for Ep3"

The tenative release date for Episode 3 is scheduled for May 25th, 2005 according to my research

Very good info Andy.

I literally can't wait till Ep III comes out. We are all going to be suprised and shocked and be like I didn't think that was going to happen and how could that be?

We thought we knew what was going to happen and then it was much diffrent then what we expected. When I first heard off Ep II all I knew was that it was going to be a love story. Which it was but I really thought that was what it was going to be all about.

Ep III is really going to satisfy our thirst for Star Wars and leave us satisfied. It literally is going make us finally happy and not want more. It is also going to tie together Ep I and Ep II to Ep IV, Ep V, and Ep VI.
